On this episode of the Daily Stoic Podcast, Ryan Holiday talks to recording artist Bobby Hall (Logic) about his new memoir This Bright Future (geni.us/99nJvc), the power of finding peace and defining what enough is for yourself, the stigma of speaking out about mental health, dealing with pain and struggle in an expressive and creative way, and more.

The way Logic speaks to his employees speaks to his character. Seems like a great dude and I'm glad he is in a good place.

Thank you both for an amazing interview. As a white 72 year old songwriter and mother who now questions why I am working every day on music this was so incredibly helpful. After a lifetime of being a musician you made me realize that I have succeeded at being a fantastic mother which I sometimes forget while struggling with music. I have saved this interview to remind myself of why . Thank you both! 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹

Hearing “ I know what enough is “ just impacted a huge decision I made about taking a job with SpaceX miles away from my family for a financial gain. Sacrificing my families social currency is not worth the financial currency I would gain. Thank you Ryan and Logic, this comment will never express the amount of stress that was taken off of me and the realization the being the best father I can be is what’s really important.

Logic and Ryan Holiday it’s a divine moment. Both of you are inspirational to me……serendipitous!!!! “Everybody” is a mini masterpiece. I even own the print of the art cover. My Daily Stoic has become a part of my daily readings.

I am a musician who is also in school and I've been kind of hard on myself for not putting out music content because my school schedule has been crazy. I think this interview really is a reminder that you do not have to live your life for anyone but yourself.

If you've always been told you're not good enough it can be hard to keep telling yourself that you are. "Hard" but not "impossible".

Fantastic interview, wow. Big fan of Logic since I was in middle school and he was doing stuff with FaZe. Definitely resonate with some of the points he had about feeling like we are “enough”. Thank you for this!
