GREAT NEWS for British owners of 2nd homes in FRANCE

The French Senat has just voted in the new French Immigration law, in which figures the article L 312-4-1 which stipulates simply states :
The long-stay visa is issued automatically to British nationals who own a second home in France. They are therefore exempt from applying for a long-stay visa.

The French senate having voted on a bill doesn't make it a law. It needs the approval of the Assemblée nationale.
