Thanks for checking out 'Far Too Deep', everyone! I want to thank Frontiers for giving me full artistic freedom with Joel Hoekstra's 13. I write the riffs, lyrics, vocal melodies...everything. I think you'll find 'Crash of Life' to be a very diverse album and 'Far Too Deep' represents the heavier side. I also want to give a 'thanks' to the amazing musicians who helped me out on this: Vinny Appice, Tony Franklin, Derek Sherinian, Girish Pradhan and Jeff Scott Soto who certainly must be the most overqualified backing vocalist EVER. Haha! In all seriousness, Jeff's backing vocals is a huge part of the sound on the Joel Hoekstra's 13 albums. I hope you all enjoy 'Crash of Life' when it's released June 16 and please give a listen to the earlier records 'Dying to Live' and 'Running Games' as well.
