Yes unfortunately most who see the video won’t understand the flaw filled masterpiece with endless world building. He’s not even trying to escape the game and the real world was a safety hazard over worked and the air was massively polluted they played the game to escape real life and the only thing he misses is his boys. The theme of Overlord is Loneliness and depression.

To be more precise, this is not a Futuristic Death Game.
The Lore points out towards the fact that the Ancient Race of Dragons, facing off a strange unknown foe, the 8 Greed Kings, decided to peek into other worlds for help, and found the futuristic Japan of the main characters. They understood not that a virtual reality is not a part of reality and thought that people using a headset to manifest their power in such wonderful battles was a potential ground for a force to help them.
They prepared to summon them from their world, and in this used the magic of Dragons, labelled as Old Magic. However they did not know that the spell they used required a lot more mana: they were WISHING this virtual character and its powers into existence. Losing control over the spell, a lot of Dragons died this day, and the summoning was botched. Copies of Ingame observation were made real at different time periods, and it is theorized that this spell in a paradox actually summoned the 8 Greed Kings, players who died long before Ainz ever appeared, dozens of years after their empire collapsed, but not before sharing some of the modern world technologies and japanese culture.
More importantly, the Old Magic dies out (mostly) with the Dragon race, and only remains the "New Magic", a magic that was ALSO imported from the game, thus the strain on the Dragons, who wished a complete Dnd system into reality . . . classes, buffs, magical weapons and spells etc . . . in addition to already existing stuff (like martial arts, which where not in the game)
An interesting point would be that Ainz actually is not the player Suzuki Satoru, but an Artificial Being, created by the magic of Dragons. His body probably is still intact and living normally in Japan, oblivious to the creation of this alternate self.

He isn’t really for it, he’s just scared shitless of demiurge betraying him if he keeps saying no to treating humans badly. Also he’s under the impression only the bad humans are in those painful scenarios. Like he gave alot of loot outside Nazarick so they could leave with more then enough gold, but they didn’t as they were greedy. But yeah his minions are doing fked up things

I have seen the first series of overlord and there’s no possum way to survive
Not bad, but none of us would make it in this world. For one, Ainz is rank in the top players. Being the top player in a MMO is extremely rare and hard which idk anyone in the top 1000 in WoW. You don't need to show torture methods since Ainz base already has torture chambers worst than what you mention (they literally rip human skin off to make magic scrolls and use heal magic so they don't run out and resurrect if you die). Ainz plays it right even if it seems like comedy effect. He doesn't rule through fear by torture and power, but making them royal to him. He mentions this later on that ruling through fear will slow development and can cause unknown enemies to appear that might be more powerful. He's training his servants to think for themselves and so they will know that mistakes will happen. That way if Ainz makes a mistake it's more likely to be forgiven too. Being a brutal leader might please your servants but the unknown is always to be feared. That's why Shalltear got caught, and if Ainz would of got hit by the same thing, he might of been mind controlled too. Another player there might be stronger than you appears to kill you for destroying this world he liked or you killed someone he loved in a town because you wanted to torture and kill to please your servants or brutal ways. There's a reason why all demon king story ends with some hero killing the demon king in the end.

Only downside is need that be a monster, I’d pick pure blooded vampire as you essentially are a hard to kill human that doesn’t need blood (massive boost if drink and no blood rage), immune to sunlight, a lot of abilities like mine control from race. Making you able to pick any class and always have magic and super strength abilities,

You’re not that right when it comes to the story? 14:21 you said the alchemist and the village girl are husbands and wife and your half right they are not husband and wife when you said they were but they will be later in the story. Another thing is that ainz is looking for player he is not trying to escape and he already know he is not in a game anymore.
