Fun thing about this show that many people miss:
If you take the name "Alucard" and jumble the letters around a bit, you get "la cruda" which is Mexican slang meaning "the hangover".
Truly the anime of all time.
And if you spell it backwards, it's "Dracula" ^^ but that's well-known

Because leaving the Vampires in control of an aircraft carrier could be how they plan to attack. If they took the planes on there and can operate them they could launch air strikes on England. While it may very well be a trap it's not one they can casually ignore either. Likewise Alucard was probably all they had that could handle the Vamp in control of the Carrier. Even he was briefly having a little trouble. Given what we know normally not a big deal but if he had gotten knocked into the ocean, that stuff is like Acid to vampires in that universe I believe. It would have put him out of action for an extended period of time. No way police girl could have survived it and she wasn't up to facing the musket wielding vamp either.
Is it wrong to say that I've actually never seen the original show but I saw the abridged version and just love that.

Hellsing Ultimate is my favorite version of Hellsing.
I really wish I could get Isekai'd into Hellsing Ultimate so that I could either be turned into a vampire by Seras Victoria or spend my eternal afterlife inside her after I let her drink me.

I swear I thought that was a comedy edit TeamFourStar made with Hellsing Ultimate Abridged. 😂 I laughed so hard during that part of this video when I realized it actually was in the anime. I missed episodes when it aired, so I've never gotten the full story until this video.

I lost my shit and almost cried when the first time i watched Luke Valentine fight. Alucard shouting to him "Come on, get up! Attack me! You've only suffered the loss of your legs! Summon up your familiars! Transform your body! Heal your severed legs and stand! The evening is still so young. Come on, hurry, hurry, hurry! Pull yourself together - the fun has just begun! Come on! HURRY!" Still gives me chills. And the icing on the cake is definately a killing machine vampire calling him a monster. 😅

Looking back...
The whole point of Millenium was going out in a blaze of glory while killing Alucard. The strongest vampire who consumed the souls of millions all by himself. They fully intended to burn out sooner rather than later, meaning they'd stop being a threat. Alucard on the other hand is basically unkillable and will continue killing and eating people.
The major may have been evil but his success would have saved more people long term than he was killing in the short term! (Even though that absolutely wasn’t his intention)

Holy Sh!t you're right! Alucard just let all his allies die and killed innocent people with a smile on his face!
Once he isn't bound to Hellsing anymore (Integra dying without an heir, etc.) Dracula is back and we know what he likes doing!
