Huge congrats guys! New subscriber - love the brotherly car love and enthusiasm in your videos. They don't want you to use the cruise control because it will keep the engine at a steady RPM which isn't good during break-in. I have a 2019 BMW M240i which has the 1st gen B58 engine like the Supra. I keep looking at the newer BMW stuff, but the Supra is the only one you can get the B58 and a manual. I had a '89 Toyota Supra Turbo back in the day. Black with maroon leather and a 5-speed. Look in the manual, they usually tell you not to go over 90mph or over 5K RPM for 500-1000 miles. Vary the engine speed and like you said no heavy braking. You want to let things settle in. I use to live in San Antonio, but now I'm out in CA. Oh the big difference on the A91 is the rims - that's what sets them off - your brother got the one I would get. But, I also like the Stratosphere Blue as well. Again, huge congrats and look forward to seeing more vids. What's the RPM in 6th at 80mph? I've heard the grearing is basically like the 8-speed auto minus one gear. It sounds pretty quiet in the video at hwy speed. Thanks!

Yea I would’ve been easy on the throttle during the first 500 miles at least for the clutch but my brother couldn’t do it lol

We liked the Stratosphere blue too but the availability of A91 was just so limited and we were looking in 4 different states for one
I’ll have to get back to you on the RPMs at 80mph I’m sure the automatic one sits at lower rpms though since it has 2 more gears than this one, but it’s not bad at all when cruising

We will definitely be racing! But I think I’m gonna go against him with the eclipse first, just to build up to the Evo race lol
Congrats on the car! I didn't like the tan interior as well so I put a deposit on a 3.0 Premium in Stratosphere Blue. It should be arriving next week. Btw the CU later gray is named that because it has copper pearl which is "Cu" in the periodic table. I probably won't be able to hold out until 1000miles for the break in, its too tempting haha
Same here I hate tan but it’s not too bad, could definitely be worse, something that blew my mind was that the drivers door has tan, but the passenger door doesn’t 🤯 we looked for a stratosphere blue too but I think the one we found was priced at over 100k
That’s cool! I didn’t know that, it definitely looks more gold to me than brown but that’s definitely interesting, I’m sure there was a pun intended with the word play in Cu as in “See you later” because the car is fast haha

do you think it will be a good idea to do a video comparing your brothers manual supra to an automatic supra? I have heard that the transmissions on the automatic supra are really good and have not seen a video comparing these 2
Thank you bro!!! I think it would be a great idea to compare these two because based on what I’ve seen so far, the automatic transmission one, might have a higher top speed, and it probably shifts faster as well. But with that being said, I personally prefer the driving experience in a manual car over the automatic

Im planning on getting an auto since the market is a bit more developed on those, getting a tune and some cosmetic mods.
But you are right on that, the experience of driving a manual is always better than driving an automatic.
@@maximilianosarmiento445 yea the market is crazy on these cars there’s so much support 🤯 and the wide body builds are badass 🤤 I’ve heard that with just a tune they unlock so much potential on them

Yea the Supra is great!! It would’ve been nice if it was all Toyota, but if I’m honest, German engineering is amazing, plus it was made to the meet the reliability standards of Toyota so I think it’s gonna be a great car
