I've only recently discovered this channel and I must say that I did not know there was content to satisfy my love of highways, freeways, expressways, and interstates until know. The routes, the music, the information and of course the drives are all top notch. Thank you for these videos. Now, I must find a new four wheeled road warrior for drives like these.

Tollercoaster sounds like a fun ride! Planning on a visit to the Midwest soon? Wisconsin finished the rebuild of the Zoo Interchange (I-94/41/894/US-41/45) in Milwaukee, WI from the dinosaur it was into a impressive four level stack interchange, and several of the neighboring interchanges for the major arteries in the area. Worth a visit to see!
I'm glad to finally get around to watching this. The video has me amped for the next time I can come back to Atlanta. I'll be sure to hit the Tollercoaster, the extended NE Express on 85 and check out the progress on 400@285.
Wow, another stunning and pleasurable ride, too bad the weather was not being cooperative on that day. You pretty much drive the speed limit that I can observe from your videos, but I was clutching my seat as I watched the two other vehicles pass you as if you where standing still, that is most definitely a prime example of how you should not drive on wet pavement! Great video despite the weather conditions; well you and I had one thing in common that day (Dec 16th) with me; we were both filming road video in Georgia, albeit opposite ends of the Peach State. I'm looking forward to driving the "Tollercoaster" myself visiting family in Cobb; looking forward to your 2019 season!

I'm usually a bad passenger, but I'd happily ride shotgun with you Freeway Jim, such a smooth ride. And your music made the tollercoasting very relaxing. The tollercoaster is a bargain next to the Toronto 8-12 lane toll bypass Hwy 407 which is expensive.
Drove on the Tri-State a couple times last spring and I personally think they need to full-on NJTPK EVERYTHING from I-55ish to I-90. Semi volumes ALONE within a lot of the Chicagoland was nothing short of insane... DON'T even think of getting me started on the expressways within...
Schwenda those aren’t expressways. They are the Illinois Superspeedway. Come in 3 styles. The Northern speedway{294}, the. Northwestern Speedway(90), and the Western Speedway(88).

Tollercoaster....what a great nickname! Also kinda a shame that there is not a standardized electronic pass / toll system that can be used in all states. I know there are several different systems out there, would be great if they could all communicate with each other.
well here in Australia, all our toll roads on the east coast (Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane) are electronic and are all compatible with each other. I heard some bill passed Congress that eventually required all toll roads to be compatible with each other.
Great video as always! However during the entire video I couldn’t help but wonder why on that open road the speed limit is only 55. I need to stop taking dfw’s 75 mph express lanes for granted...
T.J. Roble if anything, based on my observation in this vid, the express lane speed drops to 55 first thing after 575... but mainline I-75 is at 65 until just shy of the Cobb..? Bruh...
I guess "or else" means that we'll have to admire it from a short distance, should 12-12-7's route bring us near (fingers crossed). What a ride! It *does* seem to resemble an amusement park thrill ride.
A Fantastic way to start off Season 19. I'm surprised it was that cheap for you to use the Express Lanes. I'm guessing you drove it during a part of the day when the roads weren't too busy? Because I wouldn't be surprised if they charge more to use it during the Rush Hour Periods. As for the Term "Tollercoaster", it makes sense, but you have to remember that I-75 is sort jammed into that Area of Marietta, so It shouldn't really come as a surprise to how all over the place the Express Lanes are. Keep up the great work! Looking forward to more content!
The lane prices don't fluctuate hardly at all. I frequent the lanes and I never see them change price any more than a 10¢ fluctuation. The lanes are never that busy, there can be times where there are a good amount of cars, but they are always moving.

Did this feel kind of like a small rollercoaster? There is a road called Rollercoaster in Tucson AZ, and has hard deeps, ups and curves it also it is near residential areas so, the people there wake up for sure before going to work in the morning:). Fun road!!!

Living in Wisconsin, we do not have any tolls, but I am impressed with how it turned out. Illinois Tollway needs to look at what Georgia has done.

You should ride the 635 6 lane express lanes underneath the real 635. It’s a pretty cool short trip if you’re every around DFW. Nice videos.

If I’m not mistaken the Express lanes on I-85 S in Gwinnett and DeKalb allow you to use N.C. and FL transponders
