Make Super Long Ziplines EASILY - Sons of the Forest Guide

- Ziplines are a great thing to use for getting around in Sons of the Forest. But even though they are useful, they are still quite limited. You have to have line of sight or you risk smacking into a tree. You also cannot make the ziplines longer than a set length... Or at least you couldn't before you watched this video.
Let me show you how you can quickly make a zipline that has unlimited length to it.

Doesnt work for me save files are ziped and whan you change file and compres it again game doesnt see the save.
those are backups, the backups are zipped and the normal save arent zipped
I cant get this to work. I got into appdata and found my save but when i open it theres nothing there
If you are looking in your game save folder, then it should be full of .json files. If there aren't any, then that's the wrong folder. Every save folder I have contains 32 items.

@@MrSpicyGaming I'm having the same issue, there are nothing but three files in the save file and I have checked over 5+ times to make sure sure sure that it's the correct file and it should be.
Pretty sure this is parched or something... first off I dont have that last folder with the files i have a compressed zip file I have to unpack to get to said file to edit.. then after i save the file I delete the zip and the load the game with no changes.. go back to the file and the changes are there with correct cords.

@@sherwinmathew179 sorry, the comment must be under review or blocked... basically said you need to unzip the files before you can edit them. unzip them, edit the file you need, rezip, and copy back.
It did the last time I tried it, but that is specifically in Single Player and not on a server.

I just tested this and it still works. Did you leave the game running while trying to edit the file perhaps?

@@MrSpicyGaming needs administrator permission, it's my PC. I am the only user
If you are the only user, then you have administrator permissions. Though I’m not sure why it is asking you for that since it is a file in your own user folder. Try opening Notepad first with administrator privileges then open the file from within Notepad.
