  • You heard of supersets well this is a a triple set.
    10-1 of 6 count burpees, pushups and dips. What a way to really blast your chest and shoulders from all angles. Use this as a finisher or a warmup or do x3 10-1 ladders as a serious workout.

    I've been training for a decade now, including a few years of bodybuilding. And burpees + your workouts have done more for my chest development than anything else ever has.

    I am 20 years old from Philippines I'm pretty fit i was inspired by Burpee workout, and it transform me from a fat lazy oerson to a mentally tough responsible person, it's a long journey till i can do a hundred burpee with jumps. I always dream a life like yours sir, join the military finish bootcamp and duties then excercise everyday. God Bless sir keep inspiring

    hey first sergeant, how should i progress this? should I add more ladder sets (4x, 5x, etc), start adding reps (11-1, 12-1, etc) start moving up the bottom (10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3.2,2 and so on) or add weight?

    First of all thank you for the effort that you put on every video, I don’t have a dip station where I usually workout, what can I do to substitute the dips, narrow push ups or diamond push ups are ok?

    I just wanted to ask you something. If I did nothing but burpees, will I develop muscle imbalances?

      Yes you will become imbalanced , you need to incorporate some back work outs as well. If you don’t your shoulders will start to roll forward and you will get injuries. Back and rear delt is super important.

      It's about maintaining proper form. Doing a 6 count burpee vs a standard 1 pump burpee is about discipline, focus, form and breathing. In a 1 pump burpee you can go faster by 'cheating', or rather: creating smooth combined movements. Whereas the 6 count aims to use full range of the muscles and motions.
      That's my understanding.

      @@stevenrwilson181 I forgot to add that: some times you will see art do the ab-strike, which helps maintain rhythm. The little 'tap' on the hip bone he's doing here is probably serving a similar function. It's just a habit you'll build.

    Did the intermediate version. 🪜 Down then back up. Would have preferred pullups instead of pushups.
