Weylie, try to avoid any products that have microbeads in them.. they're awful for the environment since they don't break down ever and they're too small for filters.
Thanks for the heads up. Looks like the US is working to ban them, but now I know not to buy products with them like I had been considering lately.
Anna012692 Yes, same here! I went to go buy hand soaps from Bath & Body Works and unfortunately, their deep cleansing ones have microbeads in them. Opt for the foam or the nourishing hand soaps instead.
I am researching the Yes to Tomatoes Detoxifying Charcoal Cleanser and it says their beads are biodegradable though. Apparently they're natural jojoba spheres. :) Edit: managed to find the back label online and I guess it's true.
