Yup... Bruce is a modern day Leonardo da Vinci - man is an all-around genius. He can pretty much do anything and everything.

Long time Maiden fan here but for some reason I missed this particular song and only first heard it a couple months ago, it's now my favourite alongside the live version of Hallowed Be Thy Name....

This song is underrepresented both in reactions and by the Iron Maiden fans because is was made in the 90s (the Dark Era) when Blaze Bailey was the vocalist. They did some good tracks, like this but he never lived up to the standard of Bruce Dickinson. This live version, and especially "The Sign of The Cross" is in my opinion the very highlight of the bands career. Thanks for a great reaction. I subscribe and follow your videoes from now!
This track isn't one of my favorites but i do own this concert on DVD and from it one of my favorite cuts is Sign of the Cross. Maybe a future patron request...

For me it’s ......Sabbath. Priest. Maiden....as the 3 greatest “Heavy metal” bands, with Priest actually pioneering/ establishing the “sound” and “structure”we perceive and personify today as metal!

Very much enjoyed the 2 reactions I've seen from you -- this one and Maiden's Paschendale. Guessing that you have heard a bunch of Maiden stuff but not nearly their whole catalog of songs. If that's true, then there are a bunch of tracks still undiscovered for you that would fall into the Clansman category, or even better.

I still prefer Metallica slightly over Maiden, but the Irons are definitely up there! To me Metallica just has a bit more variety in their catalogue, but remember that without Iron Maiden there is no Metallica!
That being said, this song is absolutely wonderful, they get me every time they go a bit proggy :D

Metallica has nothing on these guys. Maiden are the true Masters of metal! Metallica did not become big up until ‘88 with And Justice for All. Long live Rock n Roll.

Blaze bayley did the album version of this while Bruce dickinson did his solo stuff I think, Bruce is better
