One important thing to note is that if you use Tick Blood Tequila, it will effectively turn your auto melee into a Vampire's weapon. The downside is that you won't be able to use whiskey with it, as it counts as a strength buff for some reason. You can still use Liquid Courage for fear immunity, just drink it first, then TBT. That being said I never knew you could use both Mutant Hound Stew and Yao Guai Roast. That's a game changer.
Only downside to Tick Blood Tequila is that it doesn't proc with ricochet but if you're really tanky, every effect is a vampires as long as you have enough of the stuff lol
We need a chart of which food, alchahol and drug buffs stack and in what order
You can stack ALL melee food buffs at once. The melee bonus from both Mutant Hound recipes, both Yao Guai recipes, both Sheepsquatch recipes, and glowing meat buffs will all stack. I run both mutant hound foods and the glowing meat buffs as standard because they're easy to farm. I add the other 4 (for a total of 199% melee damage) if I want to go nutty. Sheepquatch meat especially is fairly hard to farm so it only gets used for special occasions and otherwise sits on a mule to keep it from spoiling.
I'd guess he runs 5 of those (everything but Sheepsquatch I imagine) but the 30 min buffs likely dropped off while he was recording/talk.
It's good to know about the Tick Blood stacking with Liquid courage. I've been having a heck of a time rolling a vampire chainsaw (FIRST roll on auto axe was vampire though lol. 30 rolls on chainsaw and still no vamp)
You can only stack 1 booze at a time. Sweetwater tea might be an exception.
â@@ChompsLewis Yeah, Sweetwater Tea is definitely an exception. It's buff goes under the normal drink buff section rather than using the slot designated for booze buffs.
I'll have to try TBT and liquid courage though, I wouldn't be surprised if you kept the fear immunity by drinking it first. Stranger (and more game breaking) bugs have existed after all.
I did this last night along with updated bloodied commando and xp build all three are awesome. Been playing over 4 years and last night was the first time that I did not constantly die. Thank you with everything seems op in game I can hang with them now.
I'm going to try this build. I started as a stealth commando, but my hoarding tendency pushes me farther into high strength and carnivore architypes. I have been running your shotty build, but I found it a bit fragile for my playstyle. This looks perfect for my taste. Thanks!
P. S. I am glad carnivore is getting some love in your build. I can't live without it for carry weight boosts, so I can never try the herbivore mut.
This is very similar to my current autoaxe build, but I think you have shown me a few areas I could improve my build. Insightful as always!
Iâve been recently enjoying my newer heavy build with OE Union armor and auto axe but this build takes it to another level. Iâll have to try it. Thanks for the idea and vid showcase!
Iâve been using a build as close to this as I can manage while farming the rest. Itâs great! However while farming stamps for the burning mod I found an electric mod plan and noticed something odd: yes crafting it would add electric damage but it also seems to reduce ballistic damage. Is that intended? It looks like based on the raw numbers, the DPS would actually decrease. I am worried the same would be true for the burning mod once I buy it. Am I missing something?
WOW. During aliens I modded and used a vampires flaming chainsaw, it was fantastic. I didn't even use any melee perks, I'm bloodied commando and that chainsaw was kind of OP. Its a boss killer.
"White knight" only reduce repair cost for armor, it was on 90% now its 60%. But if you use a backpack with that armor mod on you dont cripple your limbs so easy and become more tanky. But I just use power armor now, normale armour its more of a endless grind if you want a good or a powerfull sett of it. Just the basic power armor gives 45% or 47% in reduce damage.
I am having so much fun with this. It is a truly OP build.
Sinilar to mine , but mine has way less endurance and charisma and way pore perception . I use vampire minigun and chainsaw, no need for more survivability and i use evasive under luck . I use luck of the draw instead of makeshift warrior ( i use a vamp 40 pa breaks 50 slower chainsaw, and i have demolition expert instead since i mix melee and explosive weapons ) and i buy my meat from maul . I am quite good at dps and i can also use commando, i use an explosive furious ultracite laser , an aristocrat fixer which i use for far enemies , chainsaw for closer ones and a ts agl for groups.
You can also toss some cooked glowing meat in that stomach for a whooping extra 25% melee damage, easy to farm too hehe.
Just rebuilt to a bloodied unarmed with vamp-swingspeed powerfists.
i have "only" 480 carry weight but thats enough.
I also use all weight reduction cards (ammo, energy ammo, food and chems (with the bagpack-mod)) so i think thats good to go.
with vamp i have enough heal to stay alive against pretty much everything if its not fire or poison dmg.
i dont use party boy or friendly fire (not worth IMO)
Also i dont use Livegiver.
i decided to use 3 points to make grenades a viable addition for events like radiation rumble.
Things i dont want to miss are classfreak (for the good melee mutations) and demolition expert (for grenades and i have explo in Vats as a legendary perk card)
Here are the PROS and CONS to this auto axe build:
Pros:
- massive AOE dmg with the right grenades
- some AOE in Melee Combat
Cons:
- less DPS overall (but still one shotting ghouls and only 2 hits for supermutants, so only relevant against bosses)
- less carry weight
- high costs for grenades if you use them too much (Oil is my biggest problem to farm)
As someone who also has been running an Auto-Axe and also loves carry weight, I might just have to borrow this build lol

I finally realized why your tests and my results vary. There is a huge difference in weapon results between public and private servers. Obviously the server speed is reduced on public servers so that various factors like builds or buffs donât kick in at the same time. One example is the 2 shot mini nuke. Private servers it fires correctly at all times. Public servers is a very different story. It fires only one projectile for around ten or fifteen shots before the server rewards you with 2 shots. From then on anything is possible, even up to 4 projectiles firing at once. This also accounts for the discrepancy Iâve had with you on other two shot weapons. I feel as though any tests you do must test both kinds of servers to yield accurate results. Thanks for what you do.

Oh, forgive me I just realized the video was like a year old close to what I said didnât apply back then, but it does today today the chainsaw beats the auto acts. Even the electric auto act with the science. Perks is only on car with the burning chainsaw with the dual bar, and it takes extra points and intelligence to get it there without the science for the electric mod is just not on the same level and where the poison might all of them given it somehow it fails

i am not tanky enough to play without power armor so im stuck with 260 carry weight most the time. i am jealous.

Slugger perks do make a big difference, i have each one at rank 2.
Turtle have you been having trouble with born survivor not triggering? Sometimes it just doesn't go off for me and I have to re-quip the card.
He had this but didn't mention it and that's the one with the baseball bat and they're glowing and if you're a bloody build that's really good because then there's like a really high chance of you doing a ton of radiation damage whenever you attack anything Also if you get grounded it's insanely overpowered because you don't use any ranged weapons because you're made late and that means you have a ton of energy resistance

question, is the dual bar mod worth it for the chainsaw? says +100% damage -25% ap on the wiki, so would a V/40pa/25lvc chainsaw with dual bar be Better than a V/40pa/1s? if the ap cost of the dual bar mod is offset by the 25lvc? or is 1 str still better?
Dual bar is better imo, very big damage boost
I tried the high capacity backpack đ but I found I was getting more out of the grocerâs backpack đ. Probably because I use Nuka Cola for everything đ

A.T. wont stable tools work better for auto axe as its an automatic melee, if so you save 2 points if you take makeshift warrior off and equip this ?
I would probably try vampire just because I'm kind of a coward and i don't like to die :v in any case, this build legitimately looks like the most fun I've seen in such a long time, I'm quite sick of simply pressing VATS and shot, combat has become quite monotonous..

In First Person you currently get max speed, so Swing Speed and Martial Artist are not required. As Turtle intimates when he says âat the current state of the game,â Bethesda may change this in the future, so donât scrap your swing speed weapons yet.

I been sporting my vampire chainsaw for the last 2 days and it is awesome a build! Yes I see a significant difference it ate through the mirelurk queen like butter first time she never killed me. So I did a test run basically you can melt the scorchbeast,sheepsquash,vengeful mothman, and also did the project paradise. I held my own on all of them so definitely worth trying it out.
Regarding White Knight (4:37), "breaks 60% slower" means the armor lasts 2.5 times (250%) longer. The math is this: if it takes 100 minutes to break 100% of the armor, "60% slower" means it takes 100 minutes to break only 40% of the armor -- or 250 minutes to break 100%. So "60% slower" means 250% of the original lifespan: 100 / 40 = 2.5 times = 250%. This perk used to be "breaks 90% slower", which means 1000% (10 times) of its original lifespan! That's why it was nerfed. Good With Salt currently gives "90% slower spoilage of food", and that also means food lasts 10 times as long. That might be nerfed as well because it's just too powerful.

yes
You kinda have to run this at low health to turtle. I donât know if you got there yet, but they pee use on both the auto accident. A chainsaw is just atrocious so you kinda need unyielding and local to give you know if a P itâs about the only way I tried hard to run it at full health, but Iâm always running out of a P waiting for a P to come back and thatâs not even including on bosses on the queen. It just wouldnât be viable on the queen every seven seconds. You gotta wait for a recharge or pump. Youâre so full of canned coffee or quantumâs or something

I would get at least one charachter up to level 300 so you unlock all the legendary perks for use.
@@GabeHeron agreed, however it is difficult to store all the different items for several different builds on a single charachrter, so it is better to spread out across more charachters than try a jack of all trades and easier to switch builds by just switching charachters than to swap out all of your weapons and armor.

I think the 60% feels like 90%. With the perk durability.

Chain saw is tradeable damage is roughly the same they both kill really fast on everything but earl and queen

What that sis that turtle the chainsaw doesnât have exactly the same fat the chainsaw, hands-down, with the dual bar and the flaming mod does more damage than the auto act with the flaming mod I need to do our doubles the damage of the chainsaw thereâs no comparison to the damage I mean the dual bar flaming chainsaw just does more damage And by the way, make sure warrior gives you a 50% reduction in the dirt loss for five points stable tools gives you a 40% I believe for three points. Be a great job even together your chainsaws in your auto still fall apart faster than a shredder does with nosign to protect durability but still I guess what Iâm saying is that youâre using extra points to gain 10% and the weapon still falls apart

Donât understand though.. why wouldnât 60% dmg from slugger perks help much? Perhaps not so much on regular enemies as you do just fine with those but for the queen or Earle?
Per perk you get around 18damage, you can get This at cost of carry Wright. Damage is just high enough for angry turtle.

I don't understand, I have a full set of unyielding SS armor with Buttressed on each part. The armor value for each piece is the same as the one in the video. Yet somehow I'm at 342 ballistic and you show at 444.

Emma shredder for some reason does not share the old Regis durability issue I think they literally turned off durability loss on anything with a Melee keyword on it

Nice to see how to push it farther. I've switched over to Auto build a while back, with Gauss Shotgun backup... 1 of each Shotgunner card instead of Ord/Bando. Even running full health (haven't yet switched to bloody) and I only died last night in Eviction because I was holding one side of the map all by myself against groups of 8+ mutants.

I see these builds and I think "why does he use that? That card makes no sense on a melee build" Then a few minutes later its "oh ok that's brilliant"
Is that what that weapon does 15? It Hass to be more than 15 turtle that the shredder attacks 20 times the second pretty sure the Mr. handy is only five so on the weapon damage to Mr. handy looks like itâs better but it attacks much slower than either they all the wax or the chainsaw and the chainsaw now seems to be doing the same shit in third person that it did in first person and it now kind of seems like those two weapons are all damaging any grinding weapon so I didnât ask to be more than 20 times a second
A turtle have you compared the chainsaw in the auto IX with exactly the same modifications and legendary a fax because my auto wax with claim and Iâm actually running the longbow bar because the realm really doesnât matter in first person and I just like the fact that the way the way to play books but Iâm getting late car when I have the toolbar on Iâm getting like 117 damage at full house versus your 171 damage at Lowell seems disparate if you compare two identical weapons at the same health level

I run ghoulish with my bloodied auto axe with the poision mod and with unstable isotope along with all sluggers and max adrenaline and dodgy with the ultra light mod on my secret service limbs. I couldn't find anything else to use so I have iorn clad 5 and evasive max rank but I may swap for evasive for the armor perk and iorn clad for rejuvenated and adamantium skeleton. My build is still a work in progress

Angry turtle i am newish to the game i grinded for the auto axe in pits and my chainsaw still does more damage than it :/ feels like a big waste when i coyld of got cold sholder :(

It will literally and mathematically give you 10% to 60% more damage turtle and you donât need to keep the food buffs up to get it so thereâs that if youâre lazy itâs the way to go Because the excessive damage went in first person mode you know thatâs going to be fixed itâs advantageous to the players so itâs probably going to be fixed

Complete waste overcapping strenght with the legendary perk. 25% damage and carry weight the output of this vs 5 specials used elsewhere or another legendary perk is way more worth.

Something that a level 50-100 players can achieve (not reliant on awesome weapons, armor legendary perks). Builds that are not reliant on hard to get consumables.
So in order to get 600+,carry weight you have to get unyielding amor??

Personally I see strange facts when I craft legendary armour ,
With one account I am low health (Blodie) and I get low health and damage & energy resistance in low health , and on the other account I'm full health, power armour, high caps and I get just aristocrats and higher life legendary options !?
It is insane how many times I craft and all the time 85-95% legendary properties according to my game stats ,if I'm blodie I get low health , stimp,damage and energy,+3 all stats in low health , on the other side I keep getting aristocrats , damage and energy resistance in higher health ?
I craft legendary at 28 luck special.

The problem is, when You are lazzy as me, you are a survival syringes junky, and never drink or eat anything.... i think that Legendary perk is the Best on the Game for lazzy ppl, less damage but with just 1 click you restore food, drink, health and cure diseases... Easy way đ€Ł

No I think they turned out there goes the wife and armor as well cause Iâm not running with white night I havenât been for a long time and old son number burn my armor on a daily basis I think thereâs a lot of changes la then came in recently behind-the-scenes they didnât tell us about
In the interest of eliminating two very long post Iâm going to say it doesnât matter what your belt is it literally doesnât matter if your belt is good for anything grab an auto wax or a chainsaw and use it in first person and youâll be good in fact you can literally take all your Burkards off as long as you have 15 strength youâll still be good
I just play Iâm one character now I keep all the mutations on it except for the team based ones cause I really donât da do team based off I realize thereâs huge multiplicative damage involved in taking one for the team but you donât need it honestly what youâre trying to do special shed in any case to YYZ I just keep switch around at one character and I donât think Iâve built Iâve built anything recently they didnât have five special cards maxed. I just really need to be fair isnât that maybe legendary cards that are all that useful white rats is incredibly useful on a full health no braid and Mr. I have a Connerville Deorro the ammo Burgard that once burner use lol but for the most part none of them are necessary everything in there can be dealt with other ways special charge on the other hand no five wife let you let you have a 1 2/3 more maxed out per cards. So I really just rather go with the specials
