- You know I really wanted to make sure I started the new year of 2023 right so I finally went for the dream e-bike we all pretty much aspire to own.....The ONYX Motorbikes RCR!! After years of being a window shopper I finally pulled the trigger and bought one when they had a big sale earlier this month. $1500 off and I couldn't resist. So far couldn't be more happy :)
In this video I show the complete unboxing experience in true ASMR style with no music , as well as every step it takes to assemble your ONYX ebike from start to finish. Finally we take this beefy cafe racer inspired RCR for its first test ride and get my initial 1st impressions of how this bike feels and responds. This bike was a really fun one to put together and I'm stoked to get some major miles on this beast soon with many more adventures to come!!

I am interested in distance at less than 8 mph. Personal challenge to see what can be done with some average fitness.

I have a 2023 onyx CTY2 that up until 3 days ago had less than 1 mile on it, and in the last 3 days I've put about 50 miles on it now, but I'm hoping to sell it for at minimum $2,200, because I moved, and I cannot get it up the three flights of stairs at my new place. I don't know how to go about selling it, and honestly I wish I wouldn't have ridden it these last 3 days, or at all for that matter. I've started to really enjoy it, and considering I moved, I had kind of had my heart set on a new wired freedom. Mostly because it would be easier to get up and down the stairs into my new apartment. Anyways, that's a beautiful bike!

Thank for assembly congrat on your new bike. yike you put way too much lockthread on the axel a little pea size would have gone a long way now in the future service, you're gonna have hard time removing the bolt out. What i would have done is find longer axel spindle drill a whole through it and put a cotter pin in it for secure measure.

Now you need to Hook up to the Kelly control app And turn it up to 65% Or more if you have bigger battery It won't do much for top speed but it will change acceleration👍👍

How the hell did you get the wheel spacer in there so easily?! It's taking me forever fighting with the caliper while trying to nudge in the spacer.

Squeeze out of red loctite no bueno, be prepared for impact wrench removal.
Take the plastic wrap off the whole bike before you put it together
