  • Back at it fishing in the San Francisco Bay targeting the California Halibut. After a slower start we made one move and found tons of halibut that wanted to fill there belly's with anchovies and herring on the troll.

    One more classy thing is that you are not dropping “f-bombs” throughout your videos, Chris. You’ve got a down-to-earth yet professional approach. People who fish with you on your boat are very fortunate.

    Anyway, I have a question. Can you please tell us where you are motoring to.
    With these gas prices, it would be a huge help for everyone.
    I know it’s like a secret to fishermen on where the bight is but, those days are over. Let’s all catch-‘em

      Hi Ken, follow fisherman/charters on instagram. Lots of them post pictures. If you have spent enough time on the bay you should be able to have a good idea on location from that. Also networking, make friends who fish, you share a hot spot, they should as well. There is no secret recipe to save gas, I waste it too looking for fish. Thanks for watching

    • @ChrisPfish2
      @ChrisPfish2  Před 2 lety +1

      First fish was top of the tide. Then about a hour went by until we moved closer in, then all the action came. So it was 1-3 hours after the top of the tide. I dont know if it was the spot or if the bite just turned on. Probably a combo. In my opinion you want to be out there 2 hours before and after the top of the tide. That 4 hour window should be the best, you probably know this but you always want small tide swings, not the big ones. Thanks for watching and all the support!
