In this video Andrew goes to one of his favorite spring creeks to hunt for a brown trout he had seen in the creek back in 2023. He had gone back many times to try and catch the trout unsuccessfully... but finally after fishing the creek multiple times the huge brown trout finally hit the net! Fly Fishing with big trout in small creeks never gets old.
These tiny spring creeks are some of the most incredible places to fish for trout, and these types of places have become Andrew and I'd favorite types of water to fish. Wild brown trout, brook trout, and rainbow trout are find throughout these spring creeks. I hope you enjoy!
Thanks for watching!

I wish that you would take a minute in your videos to tell us about your equipment for the day and to show us a close up of the flies.
I agree
I agree 💯
I also agree
This needs all the likes
For sure! Usually Andrew does that so I'm not entirely sure why he didn't this video. I'll try to make sure it's in the next few videos 😂
Reminds me of the Letort in Pennsylvania. Toughest fishing ever but satisfying when you catch a few.
Incredible browns for that little creek. Also the green vegetation growing along the creek was interesting. Just amazing the brown trout I've seen y'all get into and entertaining to watch.
It's watercress! It grows a lot in spring fed creeks. Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed
What an exquisite creek in a gorgeous setting.
Thank you!
I see the “one more fish” is strong with you as well. My wife haaates it😂
Yes! The brown trout content Ive been waiting for. Its been hard to find trout where im from especially when its hot.
We've got a lot of brown trout content coming!! Thanks for watching
Bespoke is PRICEY! Kudos to you guys though. But I know it’s been mentioned but I wish you guys would give a tutorial or a rig setup because I’ve never actually seen you guys show what you’re using and how. Especially for the newbies to fly fishing.
Great video! I am a native of Colorado 72 years and was not aware of any spring creeks in the state. Where is this stream?
Beautiful creek and great fish!
Thank you!
Pretty brown trout
Live & fish the world famous and world record Brook Trout the Nipigon River . My personal best is 10.8 pounds . Caught and released 265 big Brook Trout last year with pictures and videos of everyone .
What an incredible adventure Rew! That creek is awesome and your last brown was incredible.
Thank you!!
great fish from such a small creek ... nice
Wow !
Spot Top😎👍🎣
I can’t believe how far this Yt channel has came and how professional the vids are!! Keep it up FR and I’m still yet to catch my big Brown Trout but I keep trying because when the times right it’ll happen!! Btw 100k is coming ur way❤
Thank you so much! Hoping to hit 100k this year. Thanks for watching and for the support!
Beautiful stream and a wonderful day. Nice to meet you
Beautiful brownies and a sweet little creek. Love the video and always tight lines. Tony Walkingstick
Thanks Tony! Glad you enjoyed
Maybe some time demonstate the ‘slingshot’ method. Thanks a lot
Awesome video Andrew! You guys are always killing it, Colorado is so beautiful!! I’m starting to become addicted to searching for browns because of you guys, it’s not easy where I fish, but I’ll figure it out, they’re out there for sure.
That's awesome!! Thanks for watching the videos
i love the cinematography! awesome videos dude! 🎣🤙
Thank you!!
Nice brownies, Andrew. Perseverance always pays off! 😉
No doubt! Thanks for watching
Your a good angler and catch and release well.
They only recommendation is .. Don't single hand the larger fish before release.
I believe the death rate is up to 80% within 3 days of fish treated in this manner.
Yessss!!!! Let’s gooooo we’re on a rollllll!
Something like that! Thanks for watching
What a lovely little stream and such beautiful fish, that last one was fantastic. Your casting ability is amazing to be able to fish with all of those bushes and trees around and such a small target area. I like seeing the scenery also, for us non Americans it would be nice to pan round the area before you started so that we can see more of it.
Thank you! I can definitely put some more of that into the videos in the future!
@@hardmanfishing Thanks.
Wow that looks like a difficult little piece of water to fish! Great job. Your stealthy approach surely paid off. Beautiful browns .

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the video
Excellent video, that was a giant for a stream that small congrats on the fish and the lady joining you on the stream..
Thank you!!
Great video. Any chance you and your brother could go into more detail on your setups? Would like to know what you are using in flies and tippet i.e.
For sure!
Enjoyed 😀👍
Glad you enjoyed!
Awesome secret gem! Did you fish this is the morning or afternoon? I'm just curious about the trout behavior in that area.
I would have caught far more snags than fish in this creek, the precision is impressive
Thank you!
That's my kind of video.
Damn that was a tank man.
Amazing little stream, with some great wild browns! I'd love to know how you find these hidden gems?
Lots of research and fishing LOL and Troutroutes
Is that a Colorado Greenback? Nice reel!! What’s the rod you paired? Line? I’m really considering that reel for small streams. I’ve got the cutthroat edition…love it. Would be great if you did a review so we could get eyes on that beauty as well as those awesome fish! Nicely done!
what fly were you using?
Nice!
This Colorado?
Small creek fishing looks to be better without Rhododendrons huh?😂
Oh you have no idea 😂 western fly fishing is so much nicer from a casting perspective
@@hardmanfishing no doubt. I can’t remember the last time I didn’t bow and arrow cast in NE Tennessee 😂
6:10 , spooked one :D
Wet your hands before you handle those fish.
What’s the purpose of that? I honestly don’t know
@@diablovec4924 I've always thought that too
