As a parent of adult children with autism, let me just thank your brother, his friends, you, your family, and your friends for being a real friend to Brandon. Like all parents of children with disabilities, my greatest fear is not being there anymore to take care of them. His parents really can rest in peace knowing there are people who love him and appreciate him. Thank you
It was so touching, especially after having seen firsthand how adults with autism, especially nonverbal are treated in my country :( I realize healthcare In USA is expensive but I hope mentality has evolved and people are more understanding and open.

Literally me rn 😂 my family had a sing-in this week and I joined via Zoom and sang baritone.
Sometimes when I was younger and I had a lot of phlegm in my throat during sickness I could both make myself honk like a goose or chirp like a bird. I could also also emit high pitched squeals almost like Mariah Carey. Needless to say, I had a lot of fun annoying my friends with it, lol

What is it with Micarah and bats? I could've sworn I saw a video of her and her family getting one out of her house. Still, props for Micarah; I stayed out of my room for almost a week after seeing a mouse. I'd probably die if I saw a bat. That thing's not even a cute little fruit bat!!

Also, you may want to consider a rabies shot. You often can't feel bat bites and once you start showing symptoms it gets drastic.

Once you have symptoms. You are too late. And symptoms can take a couple of years.
@@dutchik5107 Whoa, you might be thinking about Lyme Disease. Symptoms from Rabies show up in as little as 2 days, but the longest span seems to be 50 days. It's just how long it takes to reach the spinal fluid. Though you are correct about symptoms showing up meaning it's fatal. There are almost no recorded cases of rabies patients surviving once the symptoms manifest.

Hey you definitely need to go get rabies prophylaxis. Even if you didn't feel a bite, bat bites can be very small and basically undetectable.

Or when you catch them have animal control take them for testing. That’s another option because rabies vaccines are expensive. If the bat gets tested you can know if it was even carrying rabies.
Edit: Since people were complaining that my comment didn't include details about the fact that the bats will be killed for testing (they will need to look at the brain), I've included this information below as well as other information.
Please note, getting a bat tested is an alternative to just getting the vaccine without knowing. The CDC estimates that the cost of the vaccine ranges from $3,000-7,000 per person. And it’s not generally covered under insurance. Most people can’t afford to just pay that amount of money. If you were exposed to an animal with rabies, then yes, you should get the vaccine to be safe (I never said you shouldn't). But if the animal is tested, it can help you decide if you need to incur that type of cost in the first place. That most people can’t just throw around that kind of money, so if they don’t have to, I think it’s better that people know that getting the animal tested is an option. Yes, the animal does need to be killed to be tested, and I agree that’s not the best scenario, but the debt of getting those shots could be financially devastating to some families.
I don't believe people who choose to get bats tested that are flying around in their home are unconscionable or "murderers" for doing so as some have suggested. It's your own choice. If you want to know more about it, you can do your own research.
Just remember, if you do capture the bat for testing, you will need to keep it alive for animal control to collect. Bats are endangered in some states and it's illegal to kill them (except for testing purposes).

One thing I learned from these videos: Micarah is the main character of her own life. She's an absolutely sweet person and her parents raised their kids right. I am jealous of her community and family. Well rounded and beautiful young woman

I saw one do that but it came out from under the table and at first I was sceaming thinking WOAH that spider is huge and then it FLEW I COULD NOT STOP SCREAMING I SPILLED MY literal TEA trying to process why this "flying spider" had such a huge head and was screeching in response to me ...and then it landed on a wall and I realised what it was. No I did not calm down.

I haven’t gotten to the bat part yet, but if you do and it’s in your house there is no need to kill or harm it. They can’t launch from the ground. Put them in a dustpan with a broom and put them outside.
If bats infiltrated my house like that I wouldn’t take the patience of finding them in my room and catching them in a container to set them free. I’d go on Amazon to see if Raid carries a product specifically for bats.

i watched your most recent video after not watching for a while and then went back to watch all the others, i didn’t really know much about joe but i do know that if he’s spending his last hour with you before he goes VERY far away for a long time on his phone, then this man wasn’t the one baby. i can’t judge too much from a few seconds clip but it seemed like you were longing for more than just watching what he was doing on his phone. i really felt that too and i’m sure so many girls and boys will, when they feel second best to something on someone’s phone but this scenario just felt much more upsetting because it was your last moments together and neither of you knew when you’d see each other again. i hope you take this chance to love yourself and enjoy your own company without feeling the need to have anyone else around because that’s what i love about you, for the most part it’s just you being yourself alone and literally being the star of the show because you’re so enamouring and captivating. you’ll be over this grief soon and i’m proud of you for constantly being so open and honest even when it’s so hard. we all love you girly 🥺❤️🩹

12:09 Just a small note, I was taught at school that releasing bats when it’s cold outside is actually dangerous for them (as they should be hibernating at that point). I don’t know how it is in the US but in my country when you find a bat you are advised to contact a professional or an animal rescue.

I was definitely not expecting so many emotions. The part when Brandon sends a message to his parents got me. My mom passed away this October and it has been so hard. Brandon looks like such a sweet guy, I'm sure everyone in the comments would love to be his friend.
