@@matthewcadden1967i think that the lack of advertising may be the only reason we get such quick updates and constant additions to the games, and that extra money from not advertising could be going towards paying the developers. And honestly if they stay on it and keep doing what they’re doing the game will be so quality, that they’ll see the quantity of players that they want, rather than focusing on bringing a high quantity of players to a low quality game, they’re making a quality game and hoping that will bring the quantity they want which i’m totally for.
@@nolegreg20 well even a bit more advertising would help even free advertising when possible. The quality check should have been the 3 months of season 1 ... Can't continue doing that for ever with 0 advertising.. I started playing this game in December 7 th specifically because I seen a ad for it on twitch ... And since then I haven't seen any advertisement for it anywhere ever ..

The constant patches are so nice to see. Glitch nades exploding on contact is awesome. Makes lights a ton better. I really hope we get better crosshairs at some point. Or atleast the ability to make them static.
as of now you can use crosshair v2. it's not going to ban you if you use it. if they do add it to the blacklist, it will just prevent you from loading up or close the game if you use it afterwards. I don't see it as bad since people have built in crosshairs on their monitors. just my opinion. another thing you can do is use game bar which just puts a jpeg on your screen basically lol. I don't think think they can blacklist game bar. it's something that boots with windows and doesn't even show it booted with windows. win + g
but I agree, static or better customization is ideal since even console players would be able to use it.
edit: I used to use reshade only for that but I understand them blacklisting reshade as it has the option to mess with graphics, lighting that is more customizable than anything you can do on your monitor and graphics card, and other things that can give you a competitive advantage. it even has weird gimmicks you can do like make the game look even more cartoonish or make it black and white lol
I don't think we'll ever see a proper static crosshair, the devs could've kept it static from the start but with them being very clear about secondary crosshairs being banned I don't think it's a change we'll ever see. Still won't stop anyone with a monitor crosshair or tape and a sharpie though
Lol yo glitches totally ruined my game yesterday. I thought it would be a big brain move to swap out gas for glitches vs 3 Heavys final round.
I literally counted 9 out of 11 glitch throws bouncing off the mesh and dome shield with no effect. Shyt had me furious to the point where I just basically threw the game trying to get them to work. So yeah great patch
Ew I could never use a static crosshair in any game where shooting while moving is good.
In Valorant I use static because you're supposed to stand still and shoot so it makes sense but not here
@@eisasulemankhatri4677 Static crosshairs are because the game still shoots from the center of the screen but the in-game crosshair moves with player movement/recoil. It also helps a ton with long range tracking since the crosshair moves even while ADSing

Imo it just need better visual recoil, which they might’ve fixed for this update. The damage is great, especially with headshots, the recoil just felt really inconsistent to me

So no fcar nerf? Fcar is so oppressive to any class and is the only gun that 99% of medium players use. It was mega for all of season 1 and is doing the same for season 2. It’s so boring
Some of the weapon customisation aren’t working such as inspect animations and stickers. When selected, you go into game and the options aren’t appearing as they should
The SA1216 went from a 0.78 second burst to a 0.9 second burst. It doesn't sound like that much of a change but you definitely will feel the DPS being quite a bit slower.
Anyone else having a lot of no audio issues this season? Last season it was solid compared to a lot of games I've played in the past which was refreshing but I'm having heavies surprising me and shit. the only clear audio on players is when I light goes invisible and things like that. it's just footstep audio

the shotgun nerf also affects lights, if you miss a littlebit you will need 3 shot, so you need to be closer and more accurate. good nerf and i think this should be enough

Yea it def needs a buff. But I’d be happy with just a destruction buff. The added utility is really cool but 4-5 shots at a wall is a long time so I rarely use it. If they cut it down to 2 or 3 shots I think it would be much better.
I’m happy about the glitch trap rework bc I was only using them with the CL40, but now they are more versatile.
We all knew a auto shotgun nerf was imminent, it was just a matter of “when?”
Glitch traps or trash, unlock them last night the only time they work is when you drop them on the floor 10 minutes before somebody comes next to you. Then it's a hit or miss if it's going to activate it or not
@@2DmHgh the only way I've found I was able to use glitch traps was by exploding them myself 😂. I would set a glitch trap next to C4 so that when a heavy team runs in to steal I can disable and do some damage at the same time. BUT pretty much every other gadget is just better lol
it was necessary imo. by far the best shotgun in the game for the tankiest class at that, I solo wiped teams with it all the time. you can even argue it was the best weapon in the game, especially with a coordinated team. solo queue, it could get you in trouble if your teammates play a certain style or just don't stick together

Relax, it’s a new gun and it’ll take time to find its place. It’s better they introduce mid tier weapons rather than overpowered weapons that make people mad and violently shift the meta. Now they can buff/nerf it in the coming weeks

I think they accidently increased distance that you can be away from the 1st gateway grenade to be able to throw the next one to infinity. Its no longer 70m and i have been able to teleport vaults directly from the vault to the cashout

yeah, only big apex streamer that made that leap which is based. Lyr1c did too but he's nowhere as big and really hasn't taken a hit viewership wise. Check him out if you haven't. He's a goated MnK player and has really good movement
For the UI, it would be nice if we got an indicator in the kill feed that precises if the kill is a headshot or not.
it does but doesn't show if it was all headshots. that would be nice. apex, you can look at your death recap and tell but doesn't indicate if you got all headshots

I play on steam. When I launched the game it asked to allow user control of nexus over my pc. Someone said that they accepted and now they cannot play the game . Am I supposed to ignore this or accept ?
They need to add settings to the menu for objective opacity in the hud. I am constantly struggling to see enemy’s on an objective because the big yellow objective icon is there
It would be cool if they add or give the dematerializer a counter part or an add on which you can repair walls and stuff
Just press the alternate fire button on the dematerializer, that will fix any wall that’s been dematerialized

that would be stupid considering that happens in this game often. not to me but others I notice. I would say if you leave 3 ranked matches in a single day on purpose, it should give you a temp 2 day ban or something like that but as of now, it can't tell. 😅I crashed like 2 times since the game released during ranked and for me personally, it didn't let me rejoin. I’ve contacted Embark about adding weapon attachments, which I am surely not the first to do. All I’m asking for are optics and fore grips. They would benefit every class. Especially the Heavy class with its automatic weapon systems.
Why would you possibly need fore grips? The Finals has almost no recoil to begin with

Is the matchmaking fixed? I had 100 hours in the first season and loved the game , only stopped because matchmaking was the worst in any game that ive played. I was a plat 4 and get put with bronze 4.

They already stated that this is coming. It’s only season 2 and this game is very high quality already. Just remember where Fortnite was when they were at season 2, creative mode wasn’t even a thought. They are slowly making updates to private lobbies, and I’m sure we will see customization and the min amount of players drop. They need the same amount of bandwidth to run a tournament online game as they do to run a private match, so it only makes sense for them to limit the amount of players for now.
this game doesn't have the playercount that fortnite has. playerbase would have to get a bit bigger. a lot of people populating creative instead of the actual modes would hurt queue times for the main game. if it somehow got a solid base of 60k or so, then it could work for sure

This does absolutely nothing. No one wants a light on their team. I’m a light main it takes me an hour to find a team to play with. The eh need to give light a better team ability. For example. Light should have the ability to steal cash out faster than any other class. An ability like that will make more people want a light on the team. The meta will remain med heavy still.
Why did the finals player base drop off so hard?! It’s a great game and it’s FREE
it's so far improve by 15k this season on a weekday. that's not bad. also, initial hype during peak usually falls quite a bit. as long as it has a solid base of 15k (30k now which is a huge jump if it stays), it will be alright. it's not a BR or extremely established tactical shooter like CS so I generally expect a lower player count. Game could gain more players every season, who knows. unlike last season, there is an incentive to play throughout the season with the new challenger circuit. a lot of people quit playing early in the season because they achieved what they wanted
edit: this is only steam numbers, console bases are generally higher.

Easy Anti Cheat has been pwned, Asia server is absolutely FUCKED.
Tell me about it. Every ranked match at least 1 or 2 teams rage cheating. Very common that the final round will put you up against at least 1 cheater who just keeps aimbotting the spawn from across the map. The amount of times that's happened to me.... and these are just the obvious cheaters that don't try to hide it.

Let's hope the anti cheat update has had an effect. Heard some other players on Asian servers say it was a bit better...but it'll probably be back to an aimbot fest in a few days.

Stun gun and invisibility need a huge nerf. 90% of my deaths are stuns from invisible lights with a submachine gun.
Invis was already heavily nerfed and so was stun gun. Just listen to audio cues and don’t let the Invis lights get too close

it really is. I lose hope when I see a light with a sniper that plays 200m away and can't get to the cashout in time to help in 2v3's most aren't hitting every shot and impossible to watch all angles at the same time unless you're on the crane.

What is he doing you might ask? Fucking sightseeing and the occasional hitmarker on some heavy.. Goddammit
Awful update 😞 1 weapon balanced is upsetting. So many of the weapons don't even see playtime in ranked. Would it be that hard to nerf automatic weapons and buff base movement speed for melee users? Whatever happened to skill gap as well. Every match is just mediums and fcar
They don't need to touch the weapons, the weapons are perfectly fine for each class. As a light I've taken out three heavies as a heavy I've taken out three mediums it's all about your play style and how you situate yourself! Please do not ruin this game! I'm rocking a 1.55kd and I'm just getting better don't ruin this
I got a 3.2 kd and am plat 2 rn, I’ve gotten diamond every season since CB1. I’ve played a lot is what I’m saying, and I agree the game is in a good state rn, however some underpowered utility and guns need to be brought up on the same level as other gadgets, at high levels there is still a CLEAR meta.

They just needed to buff the other guns to keep the balance. Now, after all these nerf we only have one or two usefull weapons for medium and heavy. Very dissapointing.

I think the constant patches is what's killing the game. I hardly play because of the lag issues ( never had the issue in the beta ). Some people complained online saying they're taking the fun stuff out of the game and nerfing the light class way back is why people quit.

Nerf light weapons? You serious? If anything, nerf cloak. shouldn’t be able to rat out in a corner and wait for somebody to run past to shoot them in the back. NPC behavior imo. I play light often and my pride just won’t allow me to use cloak lol, it’s so cheese. I’d rather feel like I genuinely got the best of someone by outgunning them, rather than trying to hide and surprise shoot them. Plus the movement of dash is just elite when you master it. You nerf light guns and you basically make light useless. As far as one clip a heavy, pretty much every gun is capable of a one clip on every character when you hit your shots. Nerfing light guns to not be able to one clip would basically put it outside the norm on a contestant that already has the lowest health pool. Light weapons should have the fastest ttk to offset the fact lights have the lowest health.
