- Taurus just released its new Taurus GX4 Carry pistol a few weeks ago! This is the newest pistol in the GX4 line-up, however this one comes with big changes!

I wanted a GX4 the size of a G3 because of the G3 trigger. Looks like the right size with good trigger. And if you have to use it you won't have $1000 in police evidence room
Had to go thru that for my wife's PDP F series, got it back, but what a pain in the arse
Facts
Watched your review and several others and decided I wanted one. Purchased two weeks ago and couldn't be happier. Topped it off with a Vortex red dot and a TLR 7A pistol light. Take down is easy and the weapon fits my large hand very comfortably. Would absolutely recommend as a top contender for anyone wanting a reliable, easy to handle and economical firearm!!

How would you compare iwi masada, gx4 carry, cr920p, or the xmacro? Can you rank them? Which is the most accurate ? and best with recoil?
Looks nice. But is IT better than hellcat pro or masada slim?
How does it compare to the TS9?
And a larger trigger guard area than the G48, G43. XL handed folks will appreciate that
I’ve been using the G3 for my truck pistol and like it for a cheep hood gun.I was hoping that Taurus would make the GX4 pin a bigger size like this perfect size for do all gun.I really want Taurus to offer as a slide comp version,even if it’s a complete slide kit you can by after.if you’re listening Taurus hook me up please.

Got mine today, slide stop will not work without a mag it just snaps forward without constant pressure. Did you have the same?
All my research led to me buying a gx4 I had it a few days. Shot 3 rounds and the extractor pin fell out. Gun jammed, piece was on the ground and no springs to put back together.. so 3 rounds and had to ship it back 4 weeks wait time.. not happy at all. Cabelas offered me $170 if I sold it right back 🤦🏻♂️
I wonder if it would fit an xmacro holster with a tlr7a (or sub) since they are similar size and the light is the retention point.

Im extremly interested in this pistol. I always knew they had one coming but I couldnt wait. Bought a hellcat pro earlier this year, and now im thinking about going back to the well and getting this too. My firsts were the Taurus g3c and g3 and I didnt care much for the gx4 in its size at the time. This pistol looks gooooood. Its like a hellcat pro, but I want it anyway.
Very similar to hellcat pro but with better ergonomics in my opinion

Dimensionally almost identical to my Hellcat Pro but found I'm not crazy about the Pro' U notch sights, stiff trigger, and too vertical grip angle. I have an original GX4 that actually shoots better.
The GX4 Carry is better than hellcat pro in my opinion. Just personal preference as I did not care for the original GX4 too much.

You didn't like the gx4 XL ...its the same gun with 1\8 inch longer grip

Taurus Customer Service told me this model fits the same holsters that were designed for the GX4 XL. Can you confirm? I’m in an area with limited holster selection.
That is not correct
It will not fit because of the rail on the front it’s wider than the gx4xl
Taurus has a GX4 Carry IWB holster on their website I bought one ( $ 57 tax and shipping) and it fits perfectly . The Carry has a rail and the XL does not .
Its specs seem comparable to the Hellcat Pro, both have 3.7" bbl and 15 rd mags.
I like that they added a Pic rail to the dust cover.
'Ammo' is plural, "ammos" isn't correct.

Wife and I purchased GX4s..we cannot go thru 11 rounds without a dead trigger or misfeed.. no matter what type ammo used. Will not purchase another taurus. Sorry to say..
Wife will not carry it at all ...no trust
