Ricky and the whole team at REPerformance are top guys, super knowledgeable, friendly, honest and always willing to help, without seeing the customers like walking wallets (as some other workshops do)! I am very glad that I came to know Ricky and the team and he is looking after my cars! I cannot say enough great words for these guys!

I stumbled on Ricky’s channel a year ago and immediately knew “this guy knows his onions”.
Sounds like he & I had similarly unmentionable upbringings.
That can make or break a person. I got help & I offer a prayer of thanks to them most days.
By a country mile, Ricky's interview & mat Armstrong's are the peak of interest in my eye's.
Genuine blokes who have started with nothing & built through sweat & tears & real inspirational business plan & succeeded.
Just started following Ricky, fast becoming one of my favourite channels on CZcams. A genuine and down to Earth bloke, he's not arrogant, just honest, wish more people were like that in this often fake world we live in.

What a great interview, to see Ricky in a completely different light, the ups and downs of building his business. Suprisingly finding someone with views on life similar to mine. Him not being ashamed to say you are the best at something. As I was told many years ago, never underestimate yourself and don't mistake confidence for arrogance.

Love Ricky, he’s a great lad. Talks a lot of sense and is very down to earth. Admire him greatly after coming from nothing to where he is now. Stumbled across his channel about a year ago through the algorithm of bikes. I have very little interest in cars any more but always watch his content.

I took my R8 down to Swindon a few years back for carbon cleaning, Ricky was a top bloke and plenty of nice motors in there to gawp at

REP, is a fantastic channel.
I thought I was the only one who came straight off the track and drove home, still had my leathers on. Never realised how quick as I was going until I arrived home. Through the lanes from Brands to Hastings. Also had a funny one end of race again at Brands, shut off changed down headed into paddock and lifted my visor, big mistake!!!!

Soo much to relate re the business and Covid etc. Very similar to me. Covid I was litteraly working 24hrs a day 7days a week just to keep up. But you have to do what I takes to pay the bills.

Hi mate yes this one was released on the old fishing channel and then lost when we moved over. Thought it deserved a proper edit and a place on the channel for the future etc!
Great podcast. Been following Ricky for a while now! If your after more automotive business owners stories pop me an email. I had some pretty serious mental health issues and was homeless for 10 years. 5byears ago I finally got my shit together started my business and absolutely nailed it. I’d love to get my story out there and give some inspiration for other homeless people.
Ricky success to me is going wild water swimming in wildboarclough every summer and it cost zero ..not a parking warden anywhere.🌈✌️
Only thing with brining your residential property in to your business is when you sell up for your retirement you can end up paying capital gains tax on any increase / profit on the property value. There are ways around it by buying the property through a self investment pension. Like so many things in business it’s vital to work from scratch with a trustworthy accountant. Either way good luck mate, anyone with your work ethic will always succeed.
