Susanoo, the big bad, can be paid for earlier access. You can get him for free through story mode (several hours long). Central Fiction additions (Non DLC): Nine the Phantom. So in total Central Fiction has 6 more characters than Chronophantasma EXTEND. And it doesn’t have Dub. It also has a few more game mechanics like “active flow” and Overdrive Finishers. In all honesty both are cheap nowadays so I suggest getting both. The Dub is great and if you’d like to experience the story Chronophantasma is pretty good. Central Fiction is the end and you don’t have Dub. So for story buy both. For gameplay just buy Central Fiction.
Ye 2D Detailed character images + Gameplay seems oddly more appealing than the anime sequences somehow, maybe it usally seems more cleaner and the Guilty Gear esque soundtrack no vocals doesn't hurt things
Watching this in 2024, can't believe this game is already 10+ years old. I still think it's the most ambition game of the series introducing tons of original/lore character, a giant boss fight, new maps and more world building, the second half of the story was just crazy involving time travel and big ass showdown between good and evil. Central fiction was good but felt more like concluding the story for the sake of it and it mostly focused on Ragna. The new characters are either bosses or from other spinoffs, the only good characters are Nine and Juubei and they should've put them in CP to make it the ultimate entry.
There are 13 Murakumo units. One of them, Lambda-11 was recovered by Tager and got the Idea Engine. Nu-13's soul was plucked from the boundry and implanted inside Lambda's body. When she died, the Idea Engine was transfered to Ragna's Blazblue. Her soul probably was transfered back into the boundry or the Edge or whatever and at the end of CS, it's said that she can regenerate herself at will.

In Continuum Shift II Extend, for the true ending, it seems that her purpose was to be possesed or something was to be sealed in her. As for the murakumo units, they are all clones of Saya since her control of Ars Armagus is beyond anyone else.

Either they are glowing, or it's just the lighting for that particular shot in the video. Honestly, I wouldn't think too much on it. What's more interesting imo is that it seems she's not wearing her normal outfit (well, the corrupted black version, I mean) at 1:10. It reminds me of Noel's old outfit, because her shoulders are exposed (with different colors). Granted, we can't see anything more than her head & shoulders, but it definitely looks different than her normal outfit to me.
Actually yes, it is Tsubaki, through and through, but corrupted as well, because of Hazama, and Saya as well. Her outfit is the same just instead of all white, it's all black. Makes me wonder how Jin and Noel are gonna bring her back.

Yeah. CT Reloaded starts at the end of Ragna's story where Ragna merges with Nu and Jin follows. Then it follows another story which ends with Ragna being saved. I believe it's implied that it's been looping for a while now, at least from when the Black Beast appeared to Ragna and Nu's battle. Everything that happened in CT is a phase and everything in CS is a possibility.
Saya does hold something important because of the appearance of the murakumo units, not sure what(Please tell me if you do) I think she might be a murakumo unit herself, but they are not siblings of Ragna and Jin. they were created to explore the boundary. Nu wasn't able to finish being forge in the cauldron, and unlike Noel she was not forcefully stopped, so she had to merge with the Azure Grimoire. that's how the black beast was forged. Lambda was, was Nu soul implanted into Lambda-11's body
The Murakumo unit is a Nox Nyctores which are weapons. The Izayoi is an Ars Armagus (Armagus) which is a level below. If there's a Murakumo unit, it might be one of the 10 before Lambda-11 or even the original Boundary Interface Prime Field Device.
For the last time, Izayoi is NOT the weapon gained human form, and is most certainly NOT a Murakumo. Izayoi is Tsubaki Yayoi after the "Mind Eater" spell Phantom placed on her is released. The weapon is a sentient being, but it is more Tsubaki than itself.

No, it's Tsubaki all right. Her eyes have been that color ever since she was "corrupted" at the end of Continuum Shift (before that they were blue), plus she's wearing the same hair accessories Tsubaki does. Look at 0:30 for proof, same eye color, same hair accessories.
She's defected from the NOL and so she doesn't wear their uniform anymore. Makoto doesn't wear her intelligence cloak either. She got a jacket. At the end of Extend, Tager is taking Makoto and Noel to Ikaruga.

Arcade Metal at its finest. Only Arc can pull off music like that - so perfect for their style of fighting games.
