    Even though the is500 is coming out this is still one of my dream cars

      Is500 isn’t anywhere near as raw as this F is sadly. The 500 may have a v8, but by all means is it no true F car.

    • @AnontheGOAT
      @AnontheGOAT Před 2 lety +2

      Yup, it’s not an F car. Just an IS with a V8. Not a full F.

    Cool video, and congrats on the IS-F! I couldn't help but notice that the front wheels are the wrong way around. The curved edge should be towards the front, as it's designed to act like a fan and actively cool the brakes while driving. Since you have Michelins the tires will be asymmetrical so you easily just swap them from left to right.
    As for global production numbers, there were just under 11,500 made worldwide:
    USA: 5118
    Canada: 446
    Australia/New Zealand: 1086
    UK: 265
    Germany: 215
    France: 98
    Japan: 4172

      Oh wow. I didn’t even notice! Thank you! We’ll have to switch those around then.
      Oh wow. That’s insane! Yeah I’ve always heard a mixed response in regards to production numbers so that’s super helpful. People must’ve been referring to the US number every time I’ve heard how many were made.

      So, whenever you have to rotate your tires, you have to remove and then reinstall the tires?

    • @Cordia4G63T
      @Cordia4G63T Před rokem

      @@xwarped83 can't rotate your tires since the wheels are staggered, unless you run the same width tire front and rear, in which case you'd have to remove the left front tire and swap it to right rear, providing it's asymmetrical and not directional.

    Cool review guys, keep it up. 🍻👌
    Just FYI, between 2008-2014 there were 11,500 Lexus IS-F produced worldwide.
    5118 went to the USA
    4272 - Japan
    1086 - Australia
    446 - Canada
    265 - UK
    215 - Germany
    98 - France

      Ya I was about to post that the US got over 5100 of them.

    • @gavinr9107
      @gavinr9107 Před rokem

      It is more like around 550 that made it to Australia, and we never received the IS500 over here. They command a premium over here and rightfully so. The only new production V8 cars here are the Mustang and hideously expensive LC500.

    Great review I have 09 ISF great car, reliable and fairly good on gas compared to others like m3 etc. I have seen that US sales is 5,118 units Canada 566, assume that there are additional in same range in other countries. But still a low production car. Manufactured in Japan by top quality labour and parts compared to other brands, newer F cars are even much better but at a higher cost. Not a lot of good examples available used or new unfortunately.

      Yes, you need an exhaust especially since you have headers. Game changer, Wait until our newest video, I think you'll like the one we're posting tomorrow ;)

      How does the stock exhaust sound with PPE headers? Does it gets raspy or just more pronounced? I would love to hear a sound clip!

      A lot more than 1K to swap in an aftermarket LSD or source an OEM torsen. The fastest 1/4 mile NA ISF in the world runs an open 3.7 diff anyhow.
