I just want to add that as this is my first video of cars here on CZcams, so please know I will be fixing up issues I have found in filming this video (audio quality, video quality, etc). I'm genuinely so excited to share this video, and I really hope you enjoy the video. If you do, or even don't, please make sure to leave me a comment saying hey, like (or dislike if you have to!) and subscribe if you'd like to see more content. You all fckn rock, cheers. Also, I have of course taken inspiration from legendary Doug DeMuro and Hoovies Garage, but I hope to be able to find my own style as I make more videos soon. So please understand that! Thanks again - Matt

Your knowledge of the ISF is very limited The car is absolutely amazing.

I agree. I've driven E90 M3s (gutless with no torque) and the C63 AMG doesn't feel sporty and the head bolts crack. The Isf is hands down, a better car than those German cars. You can't make a claim like that without driving all three at once, and getting them on the track.

I wouldn't say it is very limited, but let me know what I could improve on?

Nicely done - especially for your first review. I own a 2011 IS-F and thought i would mention that another reason why they are rare is because only approx 1,100 were sold in Australia and approx 11,000 worldwide.
I have owned mine for 2 years (purchased 2nd hand) and i love it. Ive made a few mods (exhaust, tune etc) and it sounds great, goes really well and is supremely reliable.
I certainly considered a C63 and M3, but both have reliability issues which in the end steered me towards the IS-F.

Been enjoying your videos for a while and went back through the archive to see where it all began. Great to see how far you've come from this first video to developing your style and technique, not to mention the catchphrase. Keep giving it the "sauce"!

Good review for your first one! The IS F, especially the 2011-2013 versions are great cars. Among the competitors of the C63 AMG and the M3 in the same years, the ISF will long outlast them all. Mine has been bulletproof, not even a bulb has burnt out, just regular scheduled maintenance and normal wear parts replacements. They still look great in 2019 and for the used prices, great value of a car if you're looking for a high performance sedan. Where can you get a 400+hp sedan for less than $25-30k, that can go easily to 400,000kms?

  • @Toyota4Life

Saying that car looks boring is a CRIME. This car is incredible looking it has a very tidy and timeless design.
Also the M3 was NOT faster than ISF. you can find videos online of the ISF being fast M3 V8. Also lexus is not and people brand. I really hate the stuff you’re saying.
Also, the paddles are magnesium they are solid they do not feel flimsy this Alexis interior has aged better than any of the bmw Mercedes competition

    Hey mate,
Just wanted to say well done on your first review, The IS-F is such a beautiful car and I don’t think there’s any better way for you to have kickstarted this channel!
Really excited for all your future content and nice to see a fellow Aussie making strides in the auto community with great vids!
If you want a quick solution to the in-car review footage, I believe Doug just records that segment with the front-facing camera on his iPhone. So a decent suction cup mount could have you all set! (RAM mounts seem to be the best in the industry)
Best of luck and congrats again!

Out of an M3, C63 and an ISF, which car will take me from 0 to the service center in the fastest time?

  • @huck9293
    @huck9293 Před 5 lety +1

The isf is basically bmw’s e30 M3 as far as the manufacturers first attempt in making road cars that can handle the track. Hopefully the Isf will be remembered as such 20 years down the road.

Great review. And a great car. Although i have never driven one, i didn't agree with the person in your Ferrari review saying "let's face it, it's a Toyota" as i'm sure he wouldn't appreciate "let's face it, it's a Maserati" . Keep up the good reviews.

It's a good review, I own a 2012 ISF performance wise , engine could use more power. For the quad muffler , it may look fake but it functions, Mercedes, BMW and other luxury high end cars use the same concept. You can see pics of mine on IG look for me jrveloria, I mod mine with the Vline LED headlights.
