iPhone 7 Plus Review in 2022 (I get my 1st battery replacement, 5 years later)

I had the iPhone 7 plus for 5 years now and this is the first time I'm getting a battery replacement. Not going to lie, I'm going to hold on to this phone for as long as I can, so hopefully, this is one step towards keeping my phone alive for a few more years. Anyways, I want to give you guys my honest review on it in 2022 and is it still worth it?

Using same iphone 7+. Just had my first battery replacement. Still works amazing since 2016. No complaints here as iPhones and other phones are getting to be soooo expensive. It s nearing like a car downpayment in my country!!!!

I’m still using my 7 plus gold as a second phone. I love it. Such a solid phone build and performance is great for a 7 year old phone! I can’t see the newer models lasting as long with the glass backings.

Hello! Thank you very much for your nice and informative video! I also have an iphone 7 plus, and my battery lasted till last year, 2021 (7 years long!!!). I did not like the new iphone in 2021, but my battery is almost dead (4-5 times recharge need everyday). After 6 months, how is your battery replacement status?…Did your friend told you some important details about what kind of battery (mark, amph,etc.) to use for replacement or are they all mediocre (no matter what the mark, amph, etc. are?

we just used the same Ah battery, we figured' it's best to go with the one apple says. We thought about higher 4ah aftermarket batteries but they didn't look reliable.

Even tho the seven is lacking one gig o ram. It runs comparably to the 7+.
The one thing that really truly sets the 7 and the 8 apart is wireless charging.
Fortunately there is this thing called a wireless charging case. I think most people use a case on their iPhones to prevent damage if dropped, so using a WCC should not be a inconsiderable option. They also make WCBattery cases. So you get more charge between plug in times. The WCC barely adds thickness or weight to your phone, the WCBC does add thickness because of the battery, but a marginally thicker phone and almost three time charge between plugins is a acceptable trade off.

using the gold 128 gb iphone 7 plus with battery capacity at 76% ... will get the battery replaced soon.. i think there is another 2-3 years in it before I go big...

iPhone 7 Plus never cracked or damaged. But I do need to charge it 2-3 times a day! Otherwise I have it charging while using it. I’m not planning to change the battery. I don’t think it’s worth it. I’m not planning on purchasing a new IPhone till they lower their prices. I don’t like the new ones they have out now. So going to hold tight until my 7 plus dies completely!!
