Island Line Rail Trail 2023, Burlington Vermont to Grand Isle, (crossing Lake Champlain), eBike

Following the defunct Island Line rail trail out to Grand Isle. It was a wonderful day to be out and about in Vermont. The people that run the ferry are very friendly and helpful, (the ferry brings you and your bike across the 200’ section of open water). The trail is very well maintained, although you still have to watch out for the occasional wash out and pot hole. It’s a fun ride, but please remember to be kind and considerate and try to adhere to the 15 mph speed limit, (not always easy to do).
