Thank you, Bloch, for your excellent repair guide. I encountered the same problem with my v10, and indeed, it was an issue with the motor. I purchased a similar v10 motor from Aliexpress as a replacement, and now it's working perfectly. Your tutorial was a great help!👍

Dayson aspirapolvere senza fili che si rompe facilmente: I progettisti Dayson sono dei DEMENTI, se monti l'elettronica a bordo motore per di più saldata rigidamente tramite i contatti dello stesso motore, portando di conseguenza tutte le vibrazioni e le risonanze del motore che ruota a 110.000 Rmp sull'elettronica, è normale che prima o poi si scassa, lo capisce anche un bambino, di fatti è il guasto più comune in pochi anni di vita. Con quello che costa questo aspirapolvere mi aspettavo un risultato almeno decente. Mi pare che più che aspirare polvere sia stata progettato solo per ASPIRARE SOLDI ai malcapitati che la comprano, di fatti è Britannica gli stessi che hanno fatto i vaccini insieme agli USA che fanno la Tesla!
Hi, did you solve this problem with sound boom like? I hear the same sound. I started in my case with checking the battery. When I'm trying to switch it on (with a trigger on the battery) and measure a voltage on a separated battery it shows about 23 volts and immediately fall to zero volt. It looks like something is wrong in battery. But when I replaced with a new one the same sound. But the new battery doesn't shows voltage failure like in old one. What do you say?
I think something on the pcb from the Motor is shorted. I have the same Problem with the battery. But my Motor makes no noise maybe some clicky Sounds.

Same here... I need to replace the motor. Once i blow with a compressor the motor noise is worst, maybe some problem inside

Can you disassemble the old motor to find the reason why it was stuck and maybe how to fix it?
