Also there's a fun bit of lore that allows you to give you more detail for the dusty bois: many sorcerers adorn parts of rubric armor with little trinkets reminiscent of the time they were alive, to try and get the rubrics to remember their past when they were flesh and blood, sadly they never do. Still, a little bit of fluff that lets you change the aesthetic on individual rubrics to your liking!
As soon as i see a TT video with Siege Studios i instantly get hyped. I'd love the Night Lords to get some new bat winged models and an update too
I've been on the fence about starting Grey Knights or Thousand Sons. I am even more tempted by chaos after this video!
My main army is GK, but I have to admit that these dusty bois have more "personality" in their models. The GK, as most Astartes, can look a bit bland outside the special characters. If looks matter, I would say Thousand Sons. If you want to be on the right side of history though... 😁
@@lardus8614 if you want to be on the right side of history perhaps get in on the league of votann before we get to know why they are awful just like the rest of the factions. Tau treats their citizens best for what it is worth. Imperial ? Chaos? both horrible choices for different reasons

Did I miss the death guard video? Mention them a couple times but I couldn’t find it. Not sure if they have just been uploaded out of order or I’m missing it. I really like the thousand sons scheme you have gone for, it really pops on camera in the battle reports

A question, did anyone here ordered from Siege Studios and lives in the EU? Any experience with customs in the world post-brexit?
Yes. I have. There was a customs fee of about 100 euro for my 20 Primaris Marines. That stung a bit.

That is an aggressively average paintjob. I hope you didn't pay too much for it.
ngl I agree. this army was done ages ago as mentioned so I think their stuff is better now. but yea, that blue daemon prince (i think) was incredibly average and not what i'd hope for from a commision personally.
also, the standard may be higher from them now but so is the pricing and it is absolutely hideous. like, its one of those times hideous is the right word lol. 1k aud for a death jester. a thousand dollars bro.
the studio better be full of year in year out consistent golden demon winners for those prices and even then, it is not worth it. because you can go on fiverr and get competition winning artists to do the same work or better for 1/4 of the price. or less. seriously. or even searching for commission open artists on insta.
i think siege studios get away with it because they cast such a wide net with how heavily they sponsor the space, they reach enough deep pocketed individuals or subsidise channels etc but for the average hobbyist who happens to want to commission some painting, they can get the same work or better for under half the price or cheaper elsewhere (5'er etc), and thats a fact.
