Personally, Ember and Wade are the #1 healthiest and also adorable couple on my list. Despite the minor flaws that they had, they still had great moments as well as a great growing connection and l support them. 10/10 🥰🔥💧
I watched a video giving a perspective that it was a manipulative relationship. Everything that he did was actually him manipulating Ember to want him 'cause he "loved" her at first sight.

I loved the bond between Bernie and Ember too they are my favorite couple in the movie and I'm a sucker for father and daughter relationships too.
As someone who personally believes in astrology, I had a great time watching this movie and predicting the possible zodiac sign combinations these characters had.
I honestly thought Wade and Ember were at the top of the list, but now I kinda realized why after the facts that Wade called Ember a coward (which was kinda too far ngl) and Ember literally got so angry at him because of it and broke up in that moment. But I’m happy that they are together until the end, despite the differences and the arguments they had.
I would say that wade does still have an arc. It's not as shown as much as it could have been but he talks about how his father's death made him depressed it was his relationship with her that brought him out of that and gave him something to want to put in effort in supporting. He also has to come to grips with his privilege and how he fundamentally doesn't understand embers experience as an second gen immigrant. That pushing was a result of that privilege and trauma
In the novel un like friends is read, he lost his father when he was 16 years old.

The mother-and-father relationship between Bernie and Cinder isn't uncommon when it comes to couples, but the relationship between Wade and Ember? That's where it's at! Despite the few slight flaws it had at first, I just love it! If you thought elements can't mix, well, elements may mix on the surface, but that doesn't change anyone on the inside!
Now, let me say this: Pixar started off as comical and sometimes a little emotional, with that of the original Toy Story, but as Pixar made more movies, it started balancing out those aspects, yet by Inside Out, it got more emotional without losing any comedy it's had before. Elemental made me emotional as Inside Out did, and that's what makes me think it's just so great! All the criticism it gets doesn't matter; it's still amazing!
I'm glad someone recognizes how great this movie really is...🌟Preach🌟. I think the reason people criticize it is because the movie is simple, but tbh thats what I love about it! We get to see Wade and Embers relationship grow from start to finish which made it so beautiful and emotional to watch. Every part of their relationship felt it would happen in real-life, even the tough parts. It was just perfect! This is definetly an underrated movie.
@carleeelders875 Yeah! I think in a few years, some skeptics might change their minds, but that doesn't really matter. What matters is that, in my opinion, this movie may be a bit full of cliché, but it's on the path to greatness!

Ember and Wade are just fricken adorable together as one of my favourite strangest but most lovable couples. Wade is such a big hearted, caring, encouraging comforting, supportive and most sensitive sweetheart. His super sensitive and tenderheartedness just makes me melt and cry happy tears. Oh god, I’m tearing up right now. 🥹🥹🥹

Ember and Wades relationship felt so real to me. It wasn't just some love at first sight story. Pixar took the time to highlight the ups and downs a couple would go through in a real-life relationship and to me nothing felt forced...not even them being able to touch.
Did anyone else catch the foreshadowing of that scene...when Ember says to Bernie that water and water people are not the same? Its small details like this that helped build up the idea of it being possible to overcome stereotypes the elements have of each other and what makes this movie soo GOOD!

The movie is good but my biggest problem is with Ember and Wade's relationship. Ember was literally chasing Wade for her life at the start of the movie and Wade was just trying to do his job but then they switched to liking each other at point blank, their relationship just lacks a ton of development imo

@@MikaShiyaz really that is shocking because I love soul and that is shocking That people don’t talk about this movie enough because this movie is in my opinion one of the pictures most audacious films and my eight favourite Pixar movie of all time there’s just so much context to this movie and the animation is beautiful and the subject on life and existence really gave me Fraggle rock vibes it’s just such an audacious film and I really wish people could talk about it more

Heist crew idea: characters from the TV series Miraculous: Tales Of Ladybug & Cat Noir. Each team member (Mostly those that kept their Miraculouses) work to pull off a necessary heist to save the world.

The relationship between Ember and Wade is NOT healthy, she is rude with him and has terrible anger issues, while Wade is an extremely good guy, she doesn't deserve a person like that

Ember and Wade are _beyond_ toxic, IMO.
They met and had their entire arc in the span of one week, first of all. They're not a healthy relationship, they're arguably one of the most toxic ones in the entire movie.
Wade not only calls Ember a coward, but insults her father's food and never makes up for it, trespasses on property that he is banned from (Ember's father's shop), makes a massive scene about how Ember should be with him instead of taking over the shop, and practically forces her to touch him after the Vivisteria scene, when she expresses not wanting to do so because of the possible dangers.
He also writes up their shop, which means Ember would likely get it shut down at one point in the story, meaning that their whole family could lose their only source of income. And this all isn't even _mentioning_ the socioeconomic difference between the two of them, with Wade being characterized as being very rich, and Ember being characterized as coming from a lower-income family. That isn't necessarily a bad thing, but in the past, people with influence have been known to use that influence against those who lack it.
All of this... plus Ember has an insane temper and clearly lacks the coping mechanisms to manage it. She holds back her emotions at several points, and blows up at several points as well. There is no indication that this is ever resolved before they get together at the end of the movie.
I’ll admit that everything you mentioned Wade doing is kind of problematic (And this is coming from someone whose favorite character is Wade), but I don’t think he’s completely awful either.
When he figured out how much the shop meant to Ember, he tried to help her keep it from getting shut down, showing a willingness to fix his mistake.
He was upset with his nephew for trying to drown Ember and his uncle for making a microaggression towards her.
Even when he was being pushy, he was super patient about it and it helped Ember get out of her comfort zone and figure out what she wanted to do with her life.
Speaking of Ember, she does seem to have gotten her temper under control at the end of the movie, when she’s leaving with Wade. I feel like her outbursts might’ve stopped when she got the internship, because her temper didn’t need to “tell her anything” anymore, but I don’t know.

They stopped having villains or bad characters so those rankings on those films just say: ,,this one is less good or this one is best."
