The Jetta is completely fine. Got lucky that what fell on the house didn't fall on the car. It would have been crushed like a VW Bug! And those brick bungalows are really strong too, their shape transfers weight well. For the car, a hardware store dent puller will get out the small dents, and a trip to the junkyard will get a new front and rear window, and passenger door. Sell the good parts off the passenger door to recoup the money spent on the new door and glass. Would recommend an auto glass company to install the new windows, as a DIY'er can not get them set perfectly, need skill and special tools to seat the glass properly so it doesn't leak or explode under pressure. That tree that was made of several trees is pretty wild, it's like someone manually twisted them together as they were saplings and then they grew inter-connected. Don't see that often in neighborhoods, usually only found in the forest growing wild.
iirc those Jettas don't have any major differences between a Premium and a TDI, so you might be able to lower the costs of the eventual repair by getting the doors and trunk yourself from a junkyard or a scrapper. The only major costs would be labor, getting the dents hammered out, and getting it repainted.
Personally I have done 4 of these chop top cars, i think i was inspired by the taurus wagon at the farm, i used them to do lawn care. First one i did was in spring of 2011 to a 1989 taurus sho, then next in 2012 to a 1993 cadillac sts, then in 2014 a 1993 mazda mx3, then in 2016 to a 1992 taurus sho. It gives the best of both worlds, convertible and the use as a pickup. I just get the cars dirt cheap, and drove them until they needed a repair that exceeded the the worthiness and junked it at that time.
Gotta love insurance companies. You pay them when it's your turn and they try to get out of paying when it's their turn. What a fuckin joke. When my house got robbed by drug addicts, they would only give me what the stuff was worth to them at the time of the robbery, not when it was new. Pretty much not worth it so I don't have insurance anymore.
