Look at the way viera played last season we were on him like havertz . Then he come on against fulham and everyone all of a sudden rates him and says he shouldve started over havertz the full season .
Huge inquest over the tactics for a team in the top 2, nobody questions klopp despite Van Dyke and Trent being rinsed every game.
Klopp has been questioned many times for high line. He was questioned a lot last season when Liverpool were all over the place.
VVD and Trent had a mare against Newcastle but Klopp’s tactical and personnel changes helped Liverpool stay in the game and go onto win it.

Havertz is coming into a very good team and should not be an automatic starter regardless of his price tag. There are plenty of opportunities for him to get minutes and prove himself, but turning the whole team upside down so that he can play has resulted in two points dropped and three performances that are a million miles off the performances we were putting in this time last season. On this point in particular, Arteta is full of it and he knows it.
Hmm? I read somewhere the stats of first 3 games last season vs first 3 game this season. And we have more possession, more xG, more chances, etc. It's just the expectation for this season is wayyy higher.

This tinkering to the team is driving me crazy, he speaks well on all his players but at the end of the season we’ll look back at these experiments and see how much points we’ve wasting. Teta developed White into one of the best fullbacks in the league with great chemistry with Saka, suddenly he’s threw that out the window. Partey was arguably the greatest DM last season, he’s clearly not as effective at inverted RB, doesn’t matter if he played there years ago. Also, start Eddie up top, he’s been playing well and getting goals. Havertz will probably come good at some point but he just hasn’t earned his spot yet and he isn’t in our strongest 11 so drop him.

As a Spurs fan I'm loving this acquisition. He's a decent player but doesn't suit the team or the formation/system you play. But, Arteta has pushed for the move so he is 'his man.' Given Arteta's ego, he'll continue to play him regardless of his personal form or his destabilising effect on the team. On the subject of players, I'm just glad Kane has gone and we have a manager who plays attacking football. I'm sure we'll continue to have our 'Spursy' moments but I finally want us to do well again, rather than hoping we'll fail in order to oust an awful manager.
