So I was looking for the craziest place to skate in europe, not necessarily the most beautiful or biggest skateparks, just extraordinary. The reason for this is that there’s this hotel in Amsterdam and one of the rooms, one of the lofts is skateable. And I’ve known this loft for years, I know it exists in my own city but I’ve never visited it. Even a lot of my skateboarding friends have never been there.
About a year ago I send them an email asking if I could make a video at their loft. They didn’t respond and I let this idea go for a while. Until I received an email from session wanting to do a sponsored video and when there’s a sponsored video it means the video gets a lot better because there’s a budget. So feeling a bit of pressure to create an entertaining youtube video I thought of this skateable hotel again.

“If you’re not into skating , it’s a little expensive..if you ARE into skating it’s extremely expensive”
U tripping
Lol I see ur comedy’s
It only means that most skaters are broke and that’s true I am a skater myself
@@robertazevedo1519 every person on a skateboard is not broke this is a mid comment
Lol this is good
"Skateparks with living obstacles" 💀💀💀
My local
Nice DOOM pfp
Fax, no one likes a snake
I’ve been the first to not let snaking happen. I’ve hit a few of them but after they learn skate etiquette real fast and after they stop snaking and pay attention 😂 really I just skate and take my turns I can’t help they snake and don’t pay attention
my local park
The Return of the King
If only I was apart of the 1%. I'd have a giant skate hotel built. It would have skate spots integrated into the inside and a skate park courtyard in the middle. It'd have a giant retractable ceiling to instantly convert the outside courtyard park into an inside one if the weather gets bad. There would be huge skate shop in there too and another smaller park inside for skate classes with instructors. It would basically be skateboard heaven lmao
Bro I always imagined a similar thing but a whole city
I miss viva la bam lol. It was kinda centered around this whole concept
No matter where you're at now, there's there's set of steps you can take to make this a reality! Don't write it off ;)
Do it, try still, own the concepts at least
The thing is, unless you don't care if it's successful, it probably won't generate enough money to sustain itself
Damn, still so many early even after a whole year!
EDIT: This vid is blowing up, thank you so much for watching, more stories like this will be uploaded soon!
Kan niet wachten, heb je gemist Bruno!
Where you get those emojis bro, i like them
I always see these red letters across the river from my friends appartment, who would've guessed that one of them had a full miniramp inside! Cool concept. Maybe not the most practical, but it surely is cool to see.
0:31 That picture of the "extremely fun skatepark" reminds me of the skatepark my town decided to build after all the kids kept going to town hall meetings and doing fundraisers to get one built. Such a kick in the nuts to all the kids involved.
Edit: but ours was worse.
Pls tell me where it is I want to see it with my own eyes
@@ashyoung42007 in rhode island but it was so unskateable and built out of wood so it just sat and rotted till they Replaced it with tennis courts. Had random flat ground rails 2+ ft off the ground, a humongous 20ft wide embankment that was WAY too steep and no way to carry speed into, and another similarly built pyramid about 80ft away from it. So much wasted time and money
@@GrrillaFinger god damn at lest our tiny towns own skatepark actually was built properly. It’s in wundowie Western Australia if you want to see it. There’s an old part which is a bit bumpy but the spine still rides perfectly fine, and a new part with drop ins and a wall ride and stuff
@@ashyoung42007 man, I live in tasmania and one of the bowls, coined the Snake Bowl 'cuz it's long and winding like a snake, has seen a lot of famous skaters skate it and it's like one of the oldest skateparks in the southern hemisphere. can't believe there was one as Bryan described, joisus,,, wood,,,
This gave me an idea for a legit skate hotel. That room is a bit small and not enough skate surfaces.
Just have a Skatehall lobby with rooms attached to it.
🤦♂️🤡 it's plenty of room, you clearly don't skate...
I have no interest in skating but the concept made me click and the editing (cuts, music, shots, etc) made me stay. Well done video stranger!
That's a huge compliment, thank u so much!
That « living obstacle skatepark » joke is gold. Groetjes uit Bordeaux
It's not a joke and it isn't gold
would be cool to see the other rooms too, but i’d definitely spend the money there. i’m not great at skating, but it’s definitely an experience i want to try. brb, saving some money for a trip to amsterdam 😂
The other rooms are just normal hotel rooms I’ve stayed there not knowing about the skate room 😢😂
Sure bud sure
@@thiloswift8035 why are you being sarcastic as if a normal person couldnt stay at this spot lmao???
THE DUTCHMAN CAME BACK FROM THE DEPTHS ON HELL TO GIVE US STRAIGHT 🔥🔥🔥
YES MATE!!💥💥
@@skateboardbruh needed the bag 💰
Imagine your skating by yourself and break your leg and get trapped in there lol
That could happen just about anywhere you skate alone. One of the many risks of the sport. Lol
Holy shit! Good to see You back man, the video was dope!
missed this dude so much love the vid!
I love how you even have part of the rail to skate ! So sick !
Sick video idea bruh. Gestopt met skaten maar door mn enkel maar ik moest deze kijken. Love from Belgium ❤
the king is back!
HE'S BACK
Thx man for posting again
I saw this hotel when visiting NDSM last week. I had no idea there was a mini ramp in this room! Very cool!
Eindelijk weer een video ❤️❤️🤟🏻🤟🏻
Welcome back my g! Cool to have you back
please come back, lost all my motivation for skateboarding this year
6:14, wiping the crap out of his shoes haha, good friend!
Sick video Bruno!!!
We waited for u man!
haven't been on skate youtube for a while. happy to see mr bruh on the recommended page
the 'Skate parks with living obstacles ' got me xDDDD @ 0:34
This is dope brother's awesome video 🤘
Glad you could do it! Keep it up
Hes back🔥🔥🔥
dang thats cool, love your vids btw
Session is one of the best skating games hands down, very realistic
good to see your back bro, when i saw this noti i screamed
You’re alive!!!!!
That’s amazing
The end of the rail is a huge danger where it is, they either should have finished the rail after the ramp or end in a shoulder.
I would just avoid skateboarding entirely if danger is a big worry for you
@@TrillMurray And thats how i know you dont even skate.
@@leredditcommander8208 because real skateboarders know to avoid handrails if they are adjacent to a quarter pipe unless they end in a shoulder to avoid huge danger?
Session is fire
The quality of these videos are always really nice
Would have loved a full day vlog of chilling, making food, skating in tge room
3:26 "First reaction... oohhhaaaahehe"
novel idea. share the cost with a couple homies. the stair rail extending the length of the flatbottom looks hazardous
good to have you back bro 👍
KING HAS RETURNED
HES BACKKKKK
thank god ur back
Reminds me of when I was 13 and I bought two small ramps from GI Joes and put them in my room to skate. I made a super small half pipe lol My mom let me do it for like 2 days before I annoyed her with it too much lol
He’s back!!
welcome back!!!!!
So sick man!
The scooter park really gets to me lol
That was cool 😂
LETS GOOOOO!!! New vid!
bro is back
I lost track of how many times you said the cost, and it takes up at least 4/10 of the video. between you and your friend skating and talking about the cost you spent as long going over any details about the room as you did the video game. gotta love it.
How much time did this comment cost you? 👀👀
My only ordeal is, just how soundproof is that room on top of that building 😂😂. Neat though
The whole time I was waiting for you to hit the upper coping on the drop in side. Might be too close to the wall though.. still, looks cool, thanks for the video.
Cool! I never knew this existed ✌️
Man I do love skateparks with small living obstacles just great
Hell yeah, rocking that Session sponsor!
You're back!
It looks so chill!
O wow
He is returned
When I first started watching the video... I didn't expect it to be in top of a cruise ship lol
Nice!
Eyy Bruno!! Sicke video!
HES BACKK
EYyy finally a vid
Nice sponsor. I can't wait for Session to leave early access.
I just realized you used the skyrim Font! neat detail :))
That's not much more expensive than alot of hotel rooms in the US.
your country is also absolute insane.
$200-$250 is pretty normal for a basic room in a newish hotel in a good downtown city location. I'd expect a unique 3-floor stand alone unit for a hotel in the US with a waterfront view to start at $500 a night.
@@ZacDonald yea I'd expect this to be around that much per night also in the US. Although I don't know how many average skaters would be able to afford something like that though. If it had a bigger sleeping area I'd say maybe chip in with a couple friends for the experience.
That’s what I was thinking. Based on the location and the inside around $260 a night isn’t surprising at all. Seems very reasonable really if you had at least 2 people splitting it.
It's actually cheaper than a motel in Santa Barbara, CA 😂
He is back after a Year 🎉🎉🎉
I bet a large portion of these rooms prices are for the “waterfront view”🧐🤣
Just the title got me to sub
Sick bro
Very interesting concept for a hotel room though ngl
Steve-O would love this place
Reminds me a lot of the breakfast park. More about stroking the ego of some architect than building something practical.
0:35 Living obstacle skateparks, ZBE on a weekend for sure!
hes back
it would be dope to host a small party there, drop in and skate with some buddies in the house you are partying at lol best of all on the water.
So now you can visit Amsterdam and you don't even have to leave your hotel room 😅 ... but seriously, it's a cool concept! 😎
eso me encanta
Nice nice 👍😇👌
I think I’d like to go so I can learn how to use a ramp in complete solitude!!
Tht thing was cute, I expected a bit more tho
Haha tof gedaan
wow
ok so today i went looking for a job a a store where the young manager told me one o the main things she does is teach how to build the skateboards to employees, thing is i don’t really know much about skateboarding but the wsy she told about the passion engaged me and now i find this channel, maybe getting that job and watching these videos make of skateboarding my hobby a find out m about something i might really like
I feel like 2 X factor ramps, 2 pcs of plywood and two small peices of coping in a motel 6 (just rearragne the room a little bit might be a cheaper and better option. (Next yt idea maybe? Idk)
Hey man.. je video's zijn super chill om te kijken.
Waarom die lange pauze?
they missed the opportunity to make the stairs out of skateboards
take a closer look
@@oligoyoutube done, your turn now.
Well welcome back I guess 🤣
The extremely fun skateparks picture was too accurate
There is an awesome skate hotel in Heiligenhafen, Germany. It’s called Bretterbude, with quaters trannys in the lodge und a big quater and stairset outside, a miniramp on a roof. Unfortunately there is not much videos in the internet from all Features
Love me an extremely fun park
Lving obstacles 💀😂
I was hoping that rail would be grinded lol
BRUNOOOOO YESSSS
