    Economy of motion was mentioned to me first in 1983 when I became acquainted with Mark Wright, a recent Julliard graduate. There he studied the fingering strategy of Julian Bream and, believe it or not, cellists like Casals and Ma.

    There is such a beautiful logic to your playing (and arranging) style. More formally trained musicians (with lots of music theory under their belts) have nothing on you. I'm not knocking those who study music theory at all.. but rather am only saying a person doesn't need formal training to produce beautiful music... and you are a testament to that. Keep up the great work.
