This show has such a special place in my heart. It is the only show my 5 year old will watch. He is nonverbal and has autism, but will say "Meap", "Ducky Momo", "Isabella". He can even write "Doofenschmirtz Evil, Inc." It's literally his whole world and the one thing we can connect through. I will forever be thankful that this show exists! 💙

WhyTfNot Well you’ve gotta remember they’re not wanting a P&F/Gravity Falls crossover, they’re wanting a crossover between the writers and VAs. I can totally see Dan, Alex, and Swampy getting together and making a completely new and unique show using their own independent writing and VA talents
@@cadenwilliams7207 Lilo & Stitch: The Series had four crossovers with other animated Disney shows in the early 2000s - Kim Possible, American Dragon: Jake Long, The Proud Family, and Recess (which was already off the air for like 5 years at the time). I don't think the different animation styles should be a problem.

Not quite a P&F Hamilton, but you should check out "M.W.C.A." (Musical without a cool acronym) - it's a fanmade musical where they sing songs from different other musicals (with the lyrics altered, obviously)! It's not just Hamilton, but they do have Candace sing "Room where it happens", and Doof also sings Hamilton!
I'm pretty sure Disney has the rights new lol. It could happen.

Another great interview, Jace! A lot of stuff I didn't know. Crazy about Bobby Lopez writing to them. Plus I love the visuals being displayed on Monogram's screen, and that Dan showed he has the World's #1 Sister mug!

I stopped watching since it's not on netflix anymore and I don't have Disney+, any recommendation besides buying Disney+ (Sidenote: I'm only 15)
I'm 22 and I still watch Phineas and Ferb on a regular basis because it's so good. Yesterday, I saw the first Phineas and Ferb movie across the 2nd dimension.

It’s crazy to think what a big part of my childhood this show was. I started watching it at 8 and bonded with someone over our love for it (and it’s music especially) in school. We are still best friends today 10 years later all because we had matching Phineas and Ferb homework folders and the rest is history 😂 we met in third grade and are now starting University in the fall. And still this show holds up as one of the greatest!

This made me oddly emotional. I think, like others I hope for the movie to be a sign that P&F will come back for another Summer. I think in my heart of hearts though, I think the movie is truly a perfect wrap up of one amazing Summer that we can keep going back to, and it makes me sad. I don't even know if I can explain how much that show means to me, but I'm going to try.
I am the youngest of six kids. We didn't have cable so, in the early 2000s everything I watched was either PBSkids, Veggietales, or VHS movies. Except for when we were in a hotel once a year or so, me and two of my sisters would immediately turn on Disney Channel and dive into the worlds of Zac and Cody, Raven, Alex Russo, and Hannah Montana. In 2007 I was a fresh faced 12-year-old a little big for my britches and on an extended Florida vacation, I wanting to be like my older siblings decided that some cartoon show about silly inventions, on Disney Channel was probably lame and crude, but the theme song was catchy.
Now let's go to the year 2010. June. I'm 14-years-old and a few weeks into my first round of chemotherapy for Acute Myeloid Leukemia and I'm feeling lonely, scared. This whole experience is my first time being in the hospital for me, ever. All the nurses are nice but I don't know them, they're strangers, doing their jobs, and all extremely kind, I came to have a special bond with each and everyone. But there was Bryan. Bryan was my nurse quite often and was a younger nurse, probably early 30s. I always had the room TV on Disney and he would come in to check IV bags and such and would always sing and dance to whatever theme song was playing yes even Hannah Montana. One day Bryan comes in and I'm feeling particularly low from chemo, in fact I think he was in there to give me some nausea medicine, anyway Phineas and Ferb is on and I let the theme song play as usual and prepare to change the channel and Bryan goes "Have you seen this episode?"
I'm like "No, I don't really watch this show, I just like the theme song" and he says "Oh, my kids showed me this episode, you should watch it has such a good song in it, I promise you'll love it."
You guys. The episode? Comet Kermillion. The song? S.I.M.P. Well. I did. I loved it. I decided after that, I would give the show a good chance. I fell absolutely in love.
Am I 25 years old and my favorite show is a Disney cartoon about two step brothers who want to make the most of everyday? Yes. Yes I am.
Now this show offers me absolute serenity. Even 10 years out of treatment there are still many physical and emotional hurtles and having Phineas and Ferb just there when I am in agony over the children I can never carry those two boys bring me peace. Physical smiles through the tears. I fall asleep to it every single night because it is so soothing and calming for me. Nights are not easy.
Here's why I think P&F had such an impact on me. I was going through a Murphy's law (hehe) time in my life, I got sick, and what could go wrong went wrong. Then I find this show where what can go right does go right. It offers absolute joy and I could truly just escape to the one place I couldn't be that I wanted to more than anything. At home in my yard, planning my Summer adventures with my siblings.
