Jonny, Thank you for this exceptional video I'm a regular viewer and subsciber , Myself and Mrs are on holiday at Lodam Br in September hope to speak to you and Millie,,, Mike
Good evening Jonny, thank you for another very busy and noisy video. I look forward to your video on Monday morning, it’s sunny and five degrees here. You even managed a traffic jam, it doesn’t get better than that! Someone mentioned that they wish more people would try sailing, I agree, a had a twenty four foot yacht which I sailed on Sydney harbour, it was wonderful but very busy in the weekends. Sailing on the broads would be fun I think. I have rambled on enough, have a good week, from Sydney Australia 🇦🇺
@@jonnytreehouse hi Jonny, you could have sailed with me. I wasn’t a sailor until my early forties. This was in the early 1990s, my father was dying with cancer, my marriage was on the rocks and I lost my very good job. Therefore my stress levels were a bit high, so I took sailing lessons, got a boat license and bought a twenty four foot yacht called an Endeavour Mk1. It was cheap and nothing special, however, I had to buy a new motor for it and a couple of new sails. Most of the time I sailed on my own and preferred that because I could stay out as long as I wanted, although sometimes things got very busy in the weekends when solo sailing! The boat actually helped keep me sane at a very difficult time in my life. I sailed it a lot until about 2005 and just kept it far too long for sentimental reasons. Earlier this year I had it scrapped. You can probably find the type of boat on the internet. Anyway, enough about me, I just thought I would tell you a bit about my sailing.
It's not often you see a rubber dinghy on the Broads. So busy (and noisy) down there today. The Wherries always remind me of silent and majestic beauties as they glide past. Impatient people on the water, in my opinion, should not be on the water! Hope you have a good week and you did not get sunburnt today.
Thanks for a real taste of summer, loved the video. I noticed one of the cruisers looked wheelchair accessible, do you know its name and is it available to hire. As a full time wheelchair user I would love a boating holiday but never thought it would be possible. Cheers Clive
Hey Clive, thanks for watching. You are correct there was a wheelchair accessible boat go by. It’s owned by a charity called the Nancy Oldfield trust. I’m not sure if they hire boats out but I’ll give you the link to their website below. www.nancyoldfield.org.uk/
I agree with you. Sailing on the broads would be amazing, a bit like Swallows and Amazons I think! I grew up reading those books growing up in New Zealand. Have a good day.
This is how Summer should be. Not pouring with rain , windy and cold as it has been. Let us hope it stays this way.
wow , what a busy day today , & what lovely weather too , there seems to be alot of big boats out , makes you wonder how much bigger they'll get .
I thought that too Lori! Great minds think alike!
That’s funny, I was thinking the same thing!
I love the River Ant ❤
So do I
Thanks for making & uploading, great upload👍
Thank you ☺️
An excellent watch as always. Fascinating to see people's reactions to what is actually going on
Thank you, it certainly is!

Mills and I were in the shade thankfully. It certainly was a racket! The Wherry coming through put all other boats in their place lol 😂

@@jonnytreehousethank you so much.👍
You are welcome, maybe worth asking the big four hire boat companies if they have anything suitable.
What a great idea Clive. I hope you can sort out a suitable boat and spend some time on the broads. Have a good day from Sydney Australia 🇦🇺
Wish more people would try sailing.
It’s something I’d love to experience.
