+Randall Flagg Only problem with the Gotham actor is that he tends to use a gun to much, and never really a knife. Although I really like how they made him a skilled killer, because in Arkham City, he's not very 'skilled'.

"Gotham" managed to make some of my favorites Batman rogues like Firefly or Black Mask to look really bad and having weak.motivations.
Even Hugo Strange, despite a great performance by BD Wong and an interesting "new" rogue plot.
That said, he got a really shitty end to his arc

Strange is supposed to be an accomplished martial artist, but hey, adaptation choices, etc, not an easy job.
Azrael was kind of cool ("normal" Theo was a great character though) bur also goofy in a way ; he went full hammy at times....
Mr Freeze was cool as fuck in his 2 episodes mini arc, but was later reduced as Hugo Strange's "silent stoic bodyguard". Lame. And put that cool-ass helmet back on. Plus; it could reduce the damages from the fights, nice bonus (y)

Victor Zsasz is also a different universe/"proto- villains" but at least he is a likable one (love his few scenes with Penguin, nice duo).

Aidan Farren-Hart well, knowing Zsasz, it’s pretty obvious what he’d do to hostages. HOWEVER, notice how angrily he ends the first call when Batman says “You should’ve stayed that way”. One could bet Zsasz took his anger out on that one hostage...

Good god Zsasz is creepy, especially in this particular mission. He is probably the closest DC has ever come to emulating an actual serial-killer. I could see this guy existing in real life, just replace Penguin with the real-life criminal of your choice and the rest of his origins falls into place just as well in the DC Universe as they do here.
Zsasz also has a pretty unique voice for a buff guy. It makes sense, though.

The guy was already pretty broken before Penguin got his hands on him, I don't think that he had the capacity to think rationally in that situation given what he had been through. I personally have a theory that if someone had tried to help him to accept his parents deaths then he wouldn't have gone down the twisted road that he ended up on, sadly Zsasz didn't get the help he so desperately needed in time. After all, Gotham doesn't exactly have the best track-record as far as helping people in need goes.
Cartoon+Animefan96 True. I remember an episode of BTAS that dwelt with the relationship between Batman and his Rogues in a trial. The result was that even without Batman, many of his villains would still go down the same the road in some shape or form.

I really hate timed events/missions in games too. I find being stealthy in games such Batman, or Outlast gives me the same adrenaline rush, but without the stress.

For those of you curious about who Zsasz is working with that allows him to avoid Batman tracking him at first, it's "The Broker." He assists other villains,such as Riddler and Scarecrow, and there is a stack of cards in Zsasz's lair that have his name on them(which can be scanned for a Riddle answer).

He’s a villain you wouldn’t see in a lot of shows, zsasz character is super dark, and here I was shutting bricks for pyg in the perfect crime and then I play this side mission.
So, He had all 4 6s in his hand, but Penguin was able to win with a straight flush, using numbers in which he required a 6, which Zsasz had all of. Penguin doesn't even do a good job at cheating.

He gets out in Arkham knight, I like how he actually knows that he'll get out. Shame there's no side mission though, he's only an Easter egg in the clock tower cctv cams. Pyg has a cool mission though, guess that's an equivalent
The scary part is that he was out there with everyone else; slaughtering a whole lot of them with that smile on his face. Then during the fear toxin incident, he probably got worse and could've escaped Gotham to go kill millions more. Like in Arkham Asylum and City, he was kept in a secured place from the rest of humanity. In Arkham Knight, he's free to travel. Imagine Zsasz OUTSIDE Gotham.

When zsasz explained what happened to him as a kid you could see the darkness in his explanation, and hear his pain in his Voice as he confesses. He wasn't always a serial killer, he was prolly just a rich spoiled kid, but a rich kid that lost everything and everything he knew and was thrown out into the criminal world where he most likely inevitably belonged. I think thats where zsasz comes from, is loss.

@@Starlight-by3cf plus the Lazarus pit not only resurrects dead bodies and gives the elderly eternal youth. But it also can drive them pretty insane and change their personalities a bit. Remember how Jason Todd reacted after being resurrected in Batman Under the red hood.
It’s a shame Zsasz didn’t have a most wanted storyline in Arkham Knight. That was a missed opportunity if you ask me. Especially since that game is rated “M”

You say he had a life but you fail to understand that the only life he had was his money, which penguin stole from him, and he had literally nobody. No family, friends, acquaintances, no one. Zsasz is very interesting though. Because he is very different from all the other villians in the arkham games.

Sure, there are some people I feel very sympathetic for, like Harvey Dent and Victor Freeze, but that isn't the case for the majority of the villains batman faces. Also, even if Jason Todd wants vengeance for Batman not arriving on time to save him, I wouldn't categorize him as a villain, but more as an anti-hero. It's the suit from Frank Miller's groundbreaking graphic novel "The Dark Knight Returns", in which Bruce (Batman) is 50 years old and not in the best of shape lol
You can't help but feel sorry for Victor Zsasz for his reckless decision to keep on gambling in order to feel joy in his like and lose it all. Don't forget he lost his parents which was the catalyst for descending him into depression and madness. It wasn't until he killed someone for the first time did he understand how much it means to suffer and that everyone is a zombie racing towards their grave.
It’s sad and scary how much more reality begins to open up as you begin to grow up both literally and figuratively too

Right On!!! My favorite part about this mission is when I am almost out of time and right next to the ringing phone and Batman just keeps jumping to the wall or on trees and e everywhere else except to the phone then time runs out. Then the disappointment that we don’t even get to fight him.

I don't know why, but Zsasz's voice actor (Danny Jacobs) sounds alot like the voice actor for Sander Cohen in Bioshock. Unfortunately, not the same guy. Cohen is voiced by T Ryder something.
Oh, that's how you get past the part at 19:00! I threw one of those ice things in between the small gap to make a raft, than slid onto it, lol. It worked, so I suppose I shouldn't complain, but the way in the video makes more sense.

The first time I played this I was so worried, it felt like i was going to fail. After coming back all it really is is gliding lol. I guess the intense music and the time limit stressed me out. It especially helps once you get the grapple boost.

It's tells you in one of the Arkham City stories. Some fellow shoved the bottom end of a bottle into Penguin's face, and the doctors couldn't remove it without fatal results. It looks like a monocle, but it's actually a bottle.

Anyone watching this in 2017? I swear that ringing brought back so many bad memories. I remember whenever I played this game, whenever I heard that phone my blood just turned to ice and I'd be terrified to pick it up.
This is one of the few Batman villains who genuinely gives me the creeps.
I did feel sorry for mr. Zsasz. :D He just really needs the mark. :) And I the voice actor really did an awesome job. :) I hope we will see Zsasz in the next game. :)
