Guys, if you read the Arkham City Stories you will know the reason why Bane can't get out of the gate. In Arkham Asylum, Bane got injured because of his little encounter with the Batmobile. He also became very weak. You can clearly see that he collected Titan to make him stronger again. There is also another story where Bane barely survived a fight with a Titan enhanced thug from Joker.

Bane is not as strong as he looks. I don't know why everyone thinks he has hulk like powers, he is barely superhuman. His powers are only to the peak of his own strength. With his venom he is just stronger than killer croc, who is only stronger than an average human.

Bane's powers tend to change depending on who uses his character but the venom doesn't really make him much stronger. Bane is also superbly intelligent and skilled in martial arts. The shows just portray him as a big idiot: running into walls, and smashing everything. And fight is not determined by strength.
Bane's a dumbass in this series, aside from in Origins.

Actually I found out Joker Thugs appear if you finish the side mission AFTER finishing the story, but if you do it BEFORE Tyger Guards appear.
Also it's the only side mission that can be done during protocol 11, each time attempting a side quest batman will say that he dont have time for that.

The thing I like about the side missions is pretty much all of them can be done WHILE playing the main story
Man I always hate the way they treated bane outside the comics He went from the man who broke the bat not just his back but his mind, and was described by Ra's as being Bruces equal only difference being Bruces is learned and calculating where banes talents are instinctual and animalistic,He even beat KGBeast without Venom KGBeast at the time being the only Character Batman couldn't go toe to toe with (see Ten Nights of the Beast) , Bane is a master of meditative states described similar to bullet time this being along with his witts how he survived lifetime imprisonment b4 ever having a drop of venom,and had a photographic memory all we get are Banes that are Dumb Hulks, Enforcers or hit men o ones who just sound like Shaun Connery with a lisp, I want to see Bane Done some justice in the other meida he is represented in this was no simple Batman foe this was Batmans ultimate enemy hence the name, he is Doomsday to Batmans superman and don't even get me started on how they've treated doomsday outside the comics, fucking sucks!

Im just saying a good representation of the Knight fall Bane or his crew has never really been done. Don't get me wrong tho the Comics have done the Charterer wrong to but I thik they shy away from the knightfall story a lot which puts the character in a weird position.

***** played it he's still just a Merc in the game some one hired /brought in to kill batman 100% not what the charter was or even what his motives where and in the end they still just had him OD on Venom and become a monster. It took Bane no time to systematically break Batman mentally hes not just a thug for hire he's the greatest enemy Batman ever faced, now he's basically KGBeast with venom instead of cybernetics.
Karma Black In Arkham Orgins, Bane is the only assassin who knows the Joker replaced black mask, and actually works with him behind the scene. He is also the biggest threat to Batman in the game, the trickiest boss to beat, and the only one who is never fooled once by anyone in the game. I think the one who's disrespecting Bane is you, not the media.
I didn't say he was stupid in the game or his difficulty level sucked, except for a small cameo in "no man's land" Hes never acted as an assassin , knight fall isn't mentioned assuming it never happens in this game universe since its the beginning of Batman's career and Batman didn't know Bane (comics) till he broke into Wayne manor and beat his ass, Im saying they are never true to the original Gang lord Bane who had a crew who's origin they fuck up, Watch Batman and robin , or the bane from the animated series, or from brave and bold, or the Batman or Knight rises , the 1st game and tell me bane isn't treated poorly, They use his plots for other characters like The mass breakout in the first film or Talias story in Rises, Batman only feared Bane and Superman only feared Doomsday they are powerful charters the Joker would be more likely too work for Bane, Bane haunted Batman like the death of Jason Todd, he shouldn't be just a face in the rouges gallery. Bane is so soft and weak in this game. And he's on TITAN as well. Bane on Venom in Arkham Origins; he is mutated and insane. He even apologises to Batman when he hits him accidentally. TITAN is supposed to be WAY more stronger that Venom. Bane is so weak here. In Arkham Origins, Batman, Joker and Bane are much more aggressive when there younger.
Pajiam and thats how the arkham games ruined my favorite comic book character. Hes not just insane brute on chemicals, hes also one of the smartest villans in the batman universe. Hes an expert stratigest, has photograhic memory, and figured out batman identity in under a year. If rocksteady is going take away most of is intelligence that might be fine to others, but I just cant really accept that. I must hope IF he returns for arkham knight, I just hope his intelligence returns.

The chemical wasn't Titan. It was an experimental drug-chemical that Bane used as a fail-safe should Batman have defeated him. His TN-1 Chemical did damage to his brain,causing him to forget Batman's identity. TN-1 could be a different form of Titan,but the Arkham Origins team probably wanted to make it a different kind of drug-chemical.

I love Arkham City to pieces and think it's one of the greatest superhero video games of all time. I play it yearly because it's so good, but this is honestly the dumbest part of the whole entire game. I like the mission itself, I enjoy Batman and Bane fighting together to defeat Tyger guards/Joker thugs and all that, but Bane is a blithering idiot here and the way he's "entrapped" is a joke. Needed something better than a metal gate to not make this look ridiculous since it's pretty well established that he's insanely strong. While I understand that the Titan is an addiction for him sort of like the Venom is/was, it would have been surprising and enriching to his character to have him genuinely just destroy the Titan too.
I certainly wouldn't have seen that coming and I would have respected his character more. Here he's just kind of inept.

Imagine a fight were Bane would regain his health through Titan canisters,and you would have to destroy them before he could regain his health completely,or maybe you would have to destroy Titan canisters to damage Bane throughout the fight,and if Bane saw Batman,he would hunt him down,he could get him from the vents,grapple points and vantage points. So stealth would be required. They could probably put the guy in the cell with Killer Croc.
TheSpycicleGamer Spoilers but Bane was referenced or a cameo in Arkham Knight. After Arkham City shutdown, Bane was messed up, but isn't the Arkham Knight prequel comic, he was killed by Arkham Knight. So that means didn't appear in Arkham Knight

A little cool thing i found out and I'm sure you probably knew but if you do the final phase of base mission while protocol 10 is happening (basically when the helicopters launch missiles around arkham City.) Instead of fighting joker thugs you fight the militia crew instead
first, you have to get that upgrade. the one thing is that many gamers tend to mash the attack button. you need to first get a x3 combo, then use your control stick to target an enemy and just press it once. after he hits an enemy, wait half a second and do it again and in a rhythm and not button mashing.

I love that when you're fighting on the same side if you accidentally get hit by Bane he will apologize
I chose not to visit Bane until after Protocol 10: but I also decided to destroy the Titan containers along the way; (if you destroy one before visiting Bane you'll get a slightly different coversation with him- not loads) but what I found interesting was all Titan containers were available except for Joker's outside stash (06:55)- this you could only obtain after talking to Bane. Either they couldn't afford to do another conversation or something else is up...

If you’re on the mission with all the helicopters in the sky then do this, you’ll be fighting TYGER guards instead

I have read Knightfall and that's where my complaints come from. Bane is a genius in that comic and you look at this game and especially arkham asylum he's nothing but a big dumb brute who's fighting tactics are to run at you. When you look at the work done by rocksteady on villans like Mr Freeze, Scarecrow, Penguin or even Calendar Man, I think they dropped the ball with Bane.
Origins did Bane better.

I think I would have tried to assure Bane, near the end, that he was still one of the strongest, and that by my destroying it he would be able keep both sanity and pride intact.
I have this game and I was so grateful there was no actual boss fight because I was NOT looking forward to fighting bane

That'd be very cool, and if you don't have someone to play that part with you I'm sure there'll be competent AI for it. I'm not expecting WB Montreal to do it in Origins, but I could see Rocksteady including in in their next game. Look at Asylum and City, both great games, but look how many new elements they brought in on City. WB Montreal has brought in some pretty cool little features too from what we've seen. I love that one of the guys at WB said there's no need to redo it, only add to it.

You must first go through the Subway. Then, follow the map then you'll be able to go the The Restricted Area/Wonder City.
Yeah. His fighting style is "DUR RUN AT THINGS!" wheras he would normally analyze his enemies and kick their asses in a more methodical way.
