So I rushed a video as quickly as I could. I might do more with it later. I'll probably play it and record stuff. I didn't get to check what the advanced blood magic skill does. I saw it gives you +5 magic attack but I didn't record it and I didn't save at any point so to get it again I'd have to start a game and get soul stones all over so I thought I'd just leave it out. I did get flagellation at least.
Anyway playable samarie for fear and hunger. Amazing.

Ah interesting. I checked the code for the intro real quick to see if I missed anything and I saw that choice changed your class to Dark Priestess. But class normally does nothing in Fear and Hunger. So, didn't know what that would really do. Looking at the classes it seems... MP cost is 60%? That's more than a little. Does obsessing about Marina instead have any benefit?
Oh and is advanced blood magic just +5 magic attack? I thought investigating it would take too long for this video so I didn't check using it with spells, but I did notice the magic attack.

Maybe spying on Marina could give you Analyze? Because Samarie spent so much time watching her, and watching others, she began to try to find ways to get rid of anyone that was going to try and Steal Marina away from her basically. So she began to look for other people's weaknesses.

Dark Priests are polythiestic so it isn't too out there to say Samarie is a silent generation Enki.
Samarie sleeping in a fetal position is oddly cute.
I also love how well the character of Samarie fits into the gothic world of FH Termina. Also, her sprites are cute so I would probably play as her for that reason.
It seems I forgot to put in looking at what happens if you skip the intro. Effectively it's like you selected "Pay attention to him", then "Try to be closer with her", then you get a blue vial and moldy bread for items. The last choice doesn't seem to do anything either way.
Though it also seems like it may be bugged and you get to have 85 max health instead of 75. So it's probably the best option to take.
Paying attention to Rher seems worthwhile because the 2 rher affinity lets you get back the maximum mind loss. It means you can't get to 125 mind but does anybody ever get the 2 rher affinity needed for that anyway? You can then get the golden gates with only 1 more affinity which is pretty useful actually.
Of the 2nd set, starting with lockpicking is best as it's not in her soul already and is pretty good early on. I don't know what the locket does but you also get that, so, that's cool.

I think the flagellation skill would be a little overpowered with the healing spells,
I think the better thing to do is make it a skill you can use in battle to massively increase otherworldly damage at the cost of health

Found a bug, carving an GoFH in the train also makes the shack (where tanaka can be seen on day 1 in the morning), also get an GoFH marking.
I wonder if she does have all the custom interactions with different contestants

Probably won't be long until an update breaks them though, then the update after that is supposed to be official new playable characters so, don't know what's going to happen to them then.

She has a lot of overpowered abilities if you want to use them. I only manage to show one of them off here. Do you want to hear more about them? Or do you just want to figure out yourself

@@gasplyroots So first is the ability flagellate in her skills. It trades 15 hp for 15 mind. Not too useful immediately but once you get a healing spell it means you have unlimited mind healing for Samarie and unlimited body healing for the whole party. Well with one small limit that Samarie can't heal both of them to full. You'll need to be slightly below capacity on either mind or body. Or use some normal healing items, aided significantly by flagellate.
Also of course being able to either start with the masturbation skill or learn it the first time you sleep means you can get 2 sylvian affinity out of 1 circle letting you get very early healing magic.
The other big one is that the third choice doesn't actually have no effect. If you choose to focus on studying then you get all magic set to 60% cost. Spice forge can set one spell to reduced cost, which is either 50% or a bit lower on some like 12 instead of 30 for the ones that cost 30. So it's not as much of a cost reduction but it applies to ALL magic, and could be combined with spice forge if you get it.
Then her skills from the regular game are fairly good already, with blood sacrifice letting you get full gro-goroth affinity as soon as you get to a gro-goroth sigil. If you wait until the orphanage you don't have to draw one, but if you want gro-goroth affinity quickly then you could just draw one to get it earlier.
She also can start with 2 Rher affinity and the ability to draw Rher sigils even without the skin bible. Rher affinity isn't that useful, but if she just draws 1 Rher sigil (probably the one in the mayor's manor) then she can learn Rher's golden gates. Which can be used to very quickly grab all of the effigies.
I'm thinking of making another video on all these strategies. The golden gates one makes me think it's probably worth it because I've been pretty interested in uses for golden gates since my secret 4th entrance to prehevil video where I tried using it for the first time and realized they can be pretty good actually. czcams.com/video/6dxqv26CdK4/video.html

Unfortunately Tanaka does not have nearly as many obsessed fans.
Fortunately *Miro* is Tanaka's obsessed fan. So after the next update, the update after that will be playable Tanaka. Also maybe other characters, but definitely Tanaka.
