- In Big Four West Virginia, is an abandoned Walmart. and behind it is a gem of a tunnel. Couldn't figure out the tunnel number so I'll just call it the big four tunnel. I caught a hopper train. As you see the entrance of the tunnel on the upper right side, they have it notched to fit double stacks thru it.. hope you enjoy the video..

I never thought I’d hear the words “abandoned “ and “Walmart” in the same sentence 😂. Must be a really bad area for a Walmart to close. Very cool tunnel and a very unique name for a town Pappy👍🏼😎🇺🇸

Glad you told us about the notch, I wondered why the entrance was cut out. Not an option to lower the track, which is what we have had to do when the bigger containers began to be used.
On This while line. All the tunnels had to be modified in sime way. They couldn't lower the tracks in most cases. The one I like the best is in crum west virginia. It's shaped like a Mason jar.. I did a video on it as well. Check the tunnel playlist.. it's cool to see.. glad you enjoyed the video. Appreciate you watching

Yeah, closed Walmart is something new to me as well. 🤣 I had time for another train, but I ran this line catching a train in each tunnel along the way.. lots of them to cover, glad you enjoyed it, always appreciate you watching Anthony
