  • First time editing on my phone. Every clip recorded on iPhone 13 Pro max. In this vid i tried to incorporate different types of driving.
    Exhaust is Roush axle backs with C&L H pipe. The best way to describe the tone of this exhaust is in between deep and high pitch, sort of has this exotic sound to it but also some muscle car sound. At first the exhaust tone was around 80hz and after 3k miles with it on the frequency dropped to around 60-70hz. If you looking for loud, this is not the right set up. I’d say it’s the perfect set up for daily driving and cold starts are loud for about 25 seconds and then quiets down.

      Only thing I like about it it’s that it’s quiet when you want it to be and loud when you get on it. I may switch to an X pipe in the near future

      It’s one of those exhaust that match the speed you going it’s not loud just to be loud and it sounds good too… I’ve heard good things about roush paird with X pipe which I may get later but rasp will come with it and I get a deeper tone with the H pipe and no drone. First get the axle back installed then later decide what resonator delete to get. Keep in mind when you put an H pipe it’ll sound the same just louder

    3 months ago I got Roush axle backs installed and it was loud and now I think it's quieter than it once was. Did you notice the same ?
    I'm still on the fence about getting a H pipe, but now I'm leaning towards getting one to increase the loudness. I don't have the active exhaust.

      Tried my best used this app called video leap and had to subscribe to this 7 day free trial in order for the vid to be long enough. Theres some clips i missed but there was already cops roaming the area so just called it a day and edited the videos together. The H pipe will just make it louder not really change the tone of the exhaust and later found out i had minor exhaust leaks at the clamps but once i fixed that the exhaust sounded good and deep… its loud but but obnoxiously loud i give it an 7.5/10 on loudness. Neighbors wont get mad i been leaving to work at 5 am and no complaints. Hope you dont hate me when you install H pipe and start it up for the first time. I thought it was too loud but it does quiet down.

      @scotttracy9333 Před rokem

      @Chris Sanchez When you say "it does quieten down", do you mean once the engine is warmed up, or do you mean months after installation after the system has "bedden in".
      After a few thousand miles I swear my roush axle back is not as loud as it once was.

      @@scotttracy9333 first I noticed it in the second cold start of this video where you can see the condensation or liquid falling to the floor from the right side of exhaust and then I could hear like “air” coming out of the clamp area where the slits are on the roush axleback. Bad placement on my part but I’ll be taking it to muffler shop to just tack weld it to make sure there’s zero leaks

      Not gonna lie it sounded better with the stock resonator but then you’d want more loud … with stock resonator it sounds really deep with the H pipe it got a little raspy but sounds good still

    • @chrissanchez9218
      @chrissanchez9218  Před rokem

    Hey boss quick question, no matter what axle back I go with on my gt, would it be louder paired with a normal x pipe or a corsa performance helixx DOUBLE x pipe?

    • @chrissanchez9218
      @chrissanchez9218  Před 3 měsíci

      With the corsa double helix X pipe it’ll make it sound more refined and smoother not as raspy and since it’s a 3 inch instead of 2.5 inch exhaust it’ll probably be louder and make more power.. I’ll be looking into an X pipe as well as I’m currently eyeing balling the ESS supercharger kit for the car and to get the most hp out of it ..
