you certainly can buy gravel in bags, but it's usually more decorative stuff like river rock or volcanic rock. that plain gray stuff is usually delivered by a dump truck and you buy it by the ton or half-ton
I drive a dump truck. Bulk like that is 1/3 the cost. For bags, they're delivered on a flat bed on pallets. That looked like 10 yards of 3/4 limestone, about 600 bags on 9 pallets which would be a semi-flatbed. VERY $$ and most neighborhoods don't allow for a tractor/trailer. My first week I delivered 5 yards to a wrong address and had to shovel 6.5 tons back onto the truck. This is why I always contact the customer and confirm address and drop instructions.

my guess, expensive stuff is so finely tuned with the best materials and created under perfect conditions so if it is put under a little stress it's done for. Cheap stuff however is made with the scraps they've scrambled together and it's handled pretty roughly and so by the time it's tested it's seen the worst of what it could.

Yes, you CAN just buy a bag of gravel, it'll cover about 3 feet square. But if you've got a huge 60-80 foot parking lot to pave, or 5 separate large houses with elaborate gardens to tend you're gonna need more bags than you can fit in even a heavy duty truck bed, like, an actual TON of rocks. It's easier to find a garden supply store and have them deliver you a few dozen feet at a time in a dump truck... Cheaper, too, unless they deliver it TO THE WRONG FUCKING HOUSE GOD... DAMN IT! That looks like about 500~ dollars down the drain.
Testicular Torsion is not necessarily caused be someone twisting your scrotum. It most often just happens randomly (from some strain like a hernia would), I got mine merely from getting into my car at the end of a work day.

Gravel can be delivered several ways, depending on usage. I had to cover quite a big area, so they placed a few half a ton bags, which are super sturdy, all around the place. Then it's just shovel and wheelbarrow, and early onset back pains.

I stopped in at a grocery store to get one item but ended up buying three unrelated items. I got in the express aisle which was going slow and plunked down my purchases on the conveyor belt. Sometimes, when I'm bored, I glance at other people's purchases and wonder if there is a theme. Diet, lots of kids, a cookout, etc. Then I considered mine and I started laughing. I was buying a canister of Reddi-wip (my gf at the time asked me to pick some up for a desert she had made and this was the intended purchase), a big box of condoms, and No-doz pills. heh.

The gravel was probably bought at a quarry. gravel does coming bags, we used to sell them but I worked at home Depot. it's generally cheaper to go to a quarry than it is to buy the bags of gravel.

5:23 I got bit on the elbow by a brown recluse when I was a kid. They leave some sort of plug (likely your own coagulated blood?) solid as a rock blocking the wound, which makes it incredibly difficult to drain the poison and puss without lancing. If you can manage to get it out, it WILL come out as a projectile, and there is a non zero chance of needing an amputation. within a day or two, my arm was green halfway to my shoulder and wrist on the back side. We had to lance, squeeze from shoulder and wrist towards the elbow and drain it every day for nearly a week. Also you dont realize just how often your elbow comes in contact with things in daily life, until even the light touch of a long sleeve shirt is searing pain.

The insulation is "cellulose" a paper based material that's treated with borax acid so it is not only NOT flammable, but also prevents pests from making a nest in it. Most insects and rodents can still nest in fiberglass insulation.
Cellulose has a much higher R value than fiberglass, and with fill in every square inch of potential draft leaks. I used to be an insulator for floors and attics. "celli" is by far, the best to deal with, and lasts the longest without needing a "freshen up".

I've started using a safety razor as it is a closer shave than cartridge razors. I used the shave soap and brush but I kept nicking myself. After I started using Barbasol shave in a can, no more nicks. I used to shave in about 30 seconds but with the safety razor it now takes a full minute.

Gravel is typically delivered straight from the quarry. They load it straight into the dump truck or customers truck/trailer. If its a company truck they will dump it off and go.

As someone who worked at a movie theater, I can confidently say that kids’ movies are the worst to clean up after. Parents just decide that for the next hour and a half their child’s messes are no longer their responsibility. Ushers dread every opening weekend for kids’ movies
They should give yall leaf blowers... blow it all to the stairs and then just sweep the stairs.

I worked at a movie theatre when Monster's Inc came out, that Minions screening is pretty clean compared to what those folks did. Just try to think about at least 3 inches of popcorn covering the floor around the stadium seating and you might get an idea of how much of a mess that was. The auditorium in this video is a quick 2 minute clean compared to that.
henry is so lucky he has no idea what testicular torsion is, it can happen at any moment. it doesnt require much for it to happen and is extremely painful from what i've heard. i hope he reads this
Wow, talk about a blocked memory... I totally forgot that I had testicular torsion (I don't think I ever knew the name) when I was 10 or 11, until I just watched this vid. I'm 52 now. I woke up one morning and one of balls was swollen to the size of a plum. The doc said wait another day or two to let it try to untwist on its own, and by that time I was fine.
Side note... here I am, a little kid, and the nurse tells me to put on one of those hospital gowns. Which are embarrassing enough to wear. It honestly never occured to me that I should take my underwear off too. So when the doc comes in to check me out and finds out I am still wearing my underwear, he was seriously pissed off. Yelled at the nurse and everything. Kinda funny now, but it was rather traumatizing, which is probably why I completely blocked this out for all these years.
In the uk you can get the gravel in small multi kilo or imperial 1 ton bags instead of on site load dumps

9:22 🦟 I totally recognise those mosquito bites. Asian rock pool mosquitos. They lived in shady bushes in our NJ back yard and were active ALL day. As long as the sun was out they wouldn't bother me, but sudden cloud cover could send them hunting and you CANNOT feel it when they bite you. One morning I went outside in just my boxers to pull some weeds, and when I went back inside 5 minutes my butt cheeks started to itch really bad, and I had dozens of those HUGE fricking bumps on them.

I know a guy in high school that got testicular torsion. He was running to class in cowboy boots, tried to make the turn into the room, his boots slipped on the tile and it spread his legs in an awkward position. He started screaming in pain.
