This is not a show bike! It's been used to commute every day all through Winter.
I'm also not bashing Oxford, I do have other Oxford products that are still working fine, this is just my experience with a pair of their indicators and bar ends.
Anything I didn't mention is standard.

I've addressed the chain "issue" several times but people are still commenting on it. The video contrast is stupidly high so it makes it look worse than it is but I can assure you my chain is fine and lubed, as stated above the bike is used daily and all it takes is for it to be sat outside work for a day in the wet for the chain to turn slightly orange anyone who commutes daily in Winter will understand.

Stumbled across here but have the exact same initials. I rode an MT07 for my full bike licence, was lovely and smooth. Like all the mods you've done to your bike

Rub the wheels down with methylated spirits before applying the rim stickers and they'll last years.. 3 years for me so far and zero lifting/peeling

Those if you didn’t know those black and yellow stripping was the original Color scheme of all Yamahas ! Both rode and Dirt bikes. My first bike was a YZ 80 with that color scheme...... and man it looks so retro.... when I get my 09 or 07 I will be getting the old Yammy original wrap.....so sick and retro. Kudos to you.

The stickers add a nice retro look. You've personalized the bike without making it look gaudy.
I freaking love the FZ's!!! that yellow is fire!! normally, I don't care for stickers - but it really sets off the bike! so sick!!

Great vid and great lass! I commute daily on my MT09, I was going to get the MT10 after using a friend’s for a few month but there is no need for all the willy waving of the crazy MT10! For use every day the 7 or 9 are much better bikes. Love your Bee, looking at similar upgrades for mine. Keep it up Chaz 😁

for a daily driver i thought your bike was well clean. My lad has an MT07 that is used every day. His is minging, yours puts his to shame.

Back in the 80s when I was reaching Yamaha ya 50 and 80moto cross bike that was the color scheme, yellow with the black so it looks so cool on these street bikes and takes me back to the days when Yammy was yellow always and with those block pattern strips

I wish they'd make these engine covers a bit better looking, they're really practical and I would definitely get some for my new mt07 if they weren't so ugly. The engine just looks so much better

This video popped up in my recommendations, I realise its quite old but it looks brilliant and if people think it looks like McDonalds colours I don't care I'm loving it 😂👍
Nice bike and good review. If you have a look on eBay you can pick up led indicators very reasonably priced and there are several designs including arrow shapes with integrated daytime running lights and dual red running plus brake lights at the rear. I have arrows on mine and they are still going strong with no condensation. Don't be put off by the cheap price or the fact that they are Chinese.

Yoshimura Fender Eliminator Kit I bought last fall.

I bought this model late last year, it's in anniversary yellow. Got the carbon akrapovic exhaust, RnG tail tidy and engine covers. Awesome bike! Coolant pipes have also corroded 🤦♂️
That's a really nice motorcycle with some sweet mods ! I like to keep my motorcycle really clean, too,...but I don't put nearly as many fingerprints on mine, as you do ! 🖐🧐👍
youve got that bike prity sorted , bit of fine wire wool will bring your exhaust header up good after salt gone off roads.

If you really like those indicators buy them again. Before you put them on you bike reseal them with a little bit of waterproof silicone. Easy, quick, cheap fix. Nice bike!

All you need now is a rear seat cowl (yellow and black of course) That would set it right off.
Just got an MT07 myself, have the R&G tail tidy and slide protectors on the frame also, downside is I have the new akra so it's a welded baffle, so will have to drill the spot weld sometime haha love yours though, some nice subtle mods and am thinking of the peg delete as makes the rear section nice a neat.
erjones Good to hear 😊. Shame they changed the exhaust! No longer looks like mine either does it with MT07 on but mine is 3 years old I guess they had to update it haha. Yeah, the peg delete makes such a difference! Definitely worth the money.

Gorgeous bike. love the colour theme. Thinking of getting a mt07 myself as my first big bike having ridden 125s as a teen. I'm 6 foot 1 though so hoping it's not too cramped.
Rob S I'm 5ft9 and it's okay but on really long rides my knees do hurt a bit!
PistonHeadChaz it's got to be more forgiving than a sports bike though, right? I think all bikes are going to make you ache a little bit on longer journeys, bar perhaps a GS etc.... just got to take breaks, keep limber etc

Quick question, I have ordered the decal kit you have, and was worried that the decals would stick well to the textured mudguard and vents. Did you have to do anything to stop the texture showing through the decals?

Now you need a two bro’s exhaust or something of the sort not just a slip on. Oh revermind you did I thought you still had that original big brick baffle ? But nope it’s gone and looks sounds great..... love your bike scheme everything about it down to the beautiful rider that I wish I could meet.
Know what you mean about the indicators. I've just got a new pair of talon LED jobs & I've tried to seal them with clear nail varnish, God knows if it'll work as it's still early days but worth a try. The brown stains aren't a good look.
Just stumbled on your channel. That's a great job that you have done on your MT07, such an individual look, that's what I try and do with my bikes. I test rode one of these last year and it was a blast, but I wasn't too impressed with the suspension. I believe the new model now has upgraded suspension. I ride all year also, but it's a job keeping the rust at bay with all that salt on the roads. Ride safe and good luck.👍☘

I like the mods you have made. Yeah, un-plated chains show surface rust almost instantly if you ride much on damp, salty roads.

I painted the silver black and cane out pretty well. The heel guards you can find on eBay in a carbon fiber or black finish

The silver frame guards ... yep, they look out of place for sure. I took mine off last week, the two bolts and just pull up..they come right off. I painted satin black, and even sprayed a satin clear over that. It looks so much cleaner and was easy to do :)
Jason Welch I've heard from a lot of people that the paint just wears off from your boots and it ends up looking a mess 😭.
