- Hello, this is another advancement TAS on my channel, this time i'm running the Balanced Diet advancement. If you don't know what TAS is, it is Tool Assisted Speedrun, which means that run was recorded on slowdown and there used things such as savestates and RNG manipulations during the run, then the run is edited to look like normal run. It is not supposed to be taken as real time run, but rather as a showcase of how crazy minecraft can get.

I think it's good to mention that a lot of damage taken during the run is not a mistake, but rather a intentional way to loose saturation faster, in order to make space for more food. - Hry
The only reason he would put this many TAS disclaimers is if he was trying to HIDE the fact that these are REAL RUNS... and he is the greatest minecrafter of all time...
Belive me or not but true reason is that there are still some people who can miss all the disclaimers and say that i'm cheating, that's why i decided to just start video with it. Hopefully this can't be not seen (or at least that's what i hope for)

I guess UHCers will have reeds and leather in 10 minutes before digging down to cave for diamonds in the next 10 to 30 minutes. Not a contest for TAS.

It’s so weird seeing someone take so much damage in a tas. Like I never would have thought “oh you need to take more damage than normal to go through your hunger quicker so you can eat more food faster”. Absolutely insane
OH is that why he kept setting himself on fire?! I completely forgot you can't eat when your hunger bar is full!
What makes it better is that every time you TAKE damage, regardless of how much or where, you instantly lose some points of hunger.
So not only do you lose hunger on regenerating hearts but also upon taking damage. It's why hugging a cactus drains it so fast.
really? thats an extremely basic thought and probably the first one any reasonable person who has ever played the game would have.

@@omegahaxors3306 I mean sure, but jumping twice loses the same amount of hunger as taking damage, so it's practically negligible outside of a very very precise TAS

Great content! Would love to see a behind the scenes video or community post for those of us who have never done TAS or just don’t know much (personally I’m an FSG/RSG runner, haven’t even touched TAS). What I mean is like what goes into a run and what steps you take. Keep up the content!

I’ve never done a TAS and I’m just wondering how you manipulate the drops to get the sword or pearl trades? I don’t need the complicated explanation, I’ve just always been curious if it’s one of the easier things to do when doing a TAS
these things are actually not hard - mobs are spawned using commands with 100% chance to drop their gear, the bartering trades are manipulated with the mod i'm using, all you have to do is just go to settings and set what item do you want to get from piglins. Other things are done simmilar way, in few cases it's just trial and error, but for most scenarios manipulation can be done without any problems
To add onto @@AndrefPL 's reply, if it sounds like cheating, it's really not, because you can just use savestates to kill a mob over and over until it drops what it wants. AndrefPL is just speeding it up.

What a sick video! I liked the pun at the beginning, haha. My favorite parts were when you did the sand clutches in the nether, and when you placed blocks really fast when you were waiting for the pearls to land

I love to see the dream luck in the TAS
For some reason I've always loved the absurd mob spawns and drops in TASes. Free pearls from endermen and creeper spawns, free looting/fire aspect sword from zombies, etc. Fun tas to watch overall
RNG manipulation. He can do savestates before killing mobs to make sure they drop the things he wants.

Nice run probably couldve shaved off a few tenths by pearling through the roof / entrance of the destert temple and head hitting in the fortress. Very nice

What's your TASing Setup for Minecraft? Are you using libTAS on Linux? A mod? How do you do RNG manipulation? Just trial and error?
he uses lotas
To play on slowdown and make the savestates i use mod called loTAS, drops are manipulated either by loTAS or by loottable datapack, rest of the things that involve rng are symulated using commands, or in few cases just trial and error

I just have a question for why the end dragon fight was the way that it was. I can’t imagine damage was a big factor since the regeneration from the golden apples prevented saturation loss, so I’m curious as to why it wasn’t a 4 bed one cycle or zero cycle?
i just suck in 1 cycle ;-;
