What is best arma game in this series
Arma: Cold War Assault (aka Operation Flashpoint) came out in 2001. Should be on the very beginning. Re-release came out in 2011.
& its campaign was best , totally felt like real war is going on

I know what you're talking about. It was released as "Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis" in 2001. In 2011 Bohemia Interactive re-released the game under the title ARMA: Cold War Assault. I suggested a second date because the first release had nothing to do with the name of Arma.

Ofp Cwc was the first open world game I’ve played. And its still in my laptop today with countless self made editor missions. The happiness of searching addons and making editor mission never instead by any other arma versions.
damn I remember spending hours and hours playing ArmA when it came out in 2006, I was a huge fan of Operation Flashpoint so when ArmA came out I couldn't believe how advanced it was compared to OFP, I had so much fun with the editor, recreating missions out of war movies, damn it was so fun back then...
Just curious, how come you never went back to Arma 2 or 3? I am literally obsessed with Arma 3 lol

@@opizzaa8285 That was like 10-15 years ago my guy, 20 years ago if you count OFP so I no longer have those missions.

Im here from the operation flashpoint days... (before ARMA was even ARMA). Unreal that is been 22 years.
Obviously looks better, but what gets me is that the game essentially feels the same as it did almost 20 years ago.
The one at 5.41 made me remember about that jet mission in BF 3. Arma indeed is one of the best military simulator game at this time. Can't wait for Arma 4...
for a 2001 game, CWA is an absolute masterpiece, i doubt any computer could run it at the time
Back then it was apparently called "Operation: Flashpoint" It was runnable altough quite laggy tbh

I have all the titles seen in the video, and I'm proud to still have all the original discs. I've been playing since Operation Flashpoint, I can say I grew up with Bohemia Interactive next to me.

I've played ArmA 1 and two on my notebook. I wasn't born the 2000's so i don't really have nostalgia but those games are masterpieces and are the most ahead of time games i've ever played.
As someone who played Arma Tactics, I want to say...

There was a earlier arma game tho, operation flashpoint, also known as ARMA: Cold War Crisis released in 2001.
Edit: just saw that you put it a lil later, while this is technically true. The game was originally released in 2001 as operation flashpoint Cold War crisis. But it still counts as an arma game.

I’ve only played Arma 3 but I think I like them all, also Arma: Armed Assault and Arma 2 sound chopped up but good at the same time somehow.

ArmA 2 is the best of the series i.m.o. and I had a lot of fun with Operation Flashpoint and ArmA (Armed Assault was it's first name). ArmA 3 for me personally is a bit of a let down and I've never played it much.

ArmA 2-Sequel to ArmA: Armed Assault
ArmA 2: Operation Arrowhead- Standalone ArmA 2 expansion that introduced lots of mechanics and focused on the US army rather than USMC.
ArmA 2: British Armed Forces, ArmA 2: Private Military Company and ArmA 2: Army of the Czech Republic-DLCs for ArmA 2 that add factions and mini campaigns.
ArmA: Cold War Assault- Re release of Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis under the ArmA name after re-securing the rights from Codemasters.
ArmA: Tactics-Turn based strategy game
ArmA 2: Firing Range and ArmA: Mobile ops-Mobile games.

Agree with the first part, and somewhat with the second. The best sounds imo we're in arma 1. Tho 3s are surely much better than 2s sounds lol
Agree, the first 2 games are the only ones who nailed it from that perspective.
ARMA 2 was the greatest game ever until DayZ came out and destroyed the community. Part of what made it amazing was the server's were filled with fellow Airman, Soldier's, Sailors, and Marines. Then DayZ started and the server's were overflowing with braindead children running around acting like they were SEAL Team 6 when the game is centered around Marines.

There is a DLC that adds karts to the game, I have no idea why ... but they are ... XD
@@AllSchoolGameplays The Reason why is actually really funny: Bohemia Interactive made a post on April fool's day to Twitter announcing a Kart DLC as a joke......but people thought the karts in the the trailer were so cool that they actually wanted them in the game so Bohemia made the dlc.
