      @@CMac-pg9yy
They lost 6 PL games (Joint most any PL winner has had in a 38 game season) it should've been more they had decisions all season they needed to cheat home & away against the best team to stand any chance of the title. They also needed Liverpool to throw their last home game of the season vs Chelsea because they knew if Chelsea didn't take all the points ManUtd go above Liverpool on league titles wins hence Gerrard's deliberate backpass to Drogba at 0-0 after Liverpool won at all costs when ManUtd came to Anfield that season confirming that season was fixed. (Even that game was controversial against ManUtd but Liverpool clearly wanted to win it).
Chel$ea had everything on their side all season because the league wanted a new champion you're not allowed to win 4 PL's in a row even if you're still the best because it makes the league look boring when they like to claim it's the best and most unpredictable league in the world.
Despite this Chelsea still lost to Wigan, struggled home&away vs 19th Hull etc...
I really don't see how if you're not even the best team that particular season (and certainly not any of the seasons surrounding this either) how you're ever going to be considered 1 of the best PL teams ever lol
ManUtd statistically were the best team in many departments that 09/10 season despite it being 1 of their most mediocre team's on paper for a while, another reason why Chelsea barely beating that ManUtd team to the title shouldn't be praised it should've been so much more comfortable especially given the manner they took maximum points off ManUtd home and away they should've won by AT LEAST 12 pts to really justify being worthy winners, they couldn't even win by 2...pathetic.
ManUtd did the best against the top teams that season despite being robbed by Chelsea h&a (where even that ManUtd were the better team in those games) ManUtd still finished top of the top5 and top6 head-to-head table beating Arsenal h&a, Spurs h&a and ManCity h&a (and knocked them out of the LeagueCup SF on route to ManUtd winning that cup where they had a harder route than Chelsea in the FAcup that season) Chelsea however lose 2 out of 2 vs ManCity including a comprehensive 2-4 loss at Stamford bridge and Spurs also beat Chelsea at WHL finished 2-1 which flattered Chelsea who lost 3 out of 6 of those games ManUtd took 18 pts from.
ManUtd also did the best against the bottom team's they had an almost perfect record against teams from 14th to 20th winning 13 out of 14 games. Only game they didn't win was Burnley away in what was Burnley's first ever home game in the Premier league difficult for any away team carnival atmosphere etc...especially after going a goal down early it makes it much harder, which was a goal you'd more associate from a top team as well. Even with the fixture scheduling Chelsea were lucky they got Burnley away mid-season best time really, even then Chelsea only just nicked that game with a late winner. Obviously playing Liverpool on the penultimate game was more lucky fixture scheduling after Liverpool are 7th with nothing to play for but prevent ManUtd overtaking Liverpool on league titles wins it was the first year that was possible.
Chelsea only did the best against the mid-table team's in 2009/10 which is much less impressive than doing the best vs the top teams and bottom team's who've all got something to fight for.
ManUtd's goal difference was worthy of the title and REAL, there was something really fishy about Chelsea finishing with 13 GD better than ManUtd despite the fact that with 3 games to go there was the same points margin separating the top2 as it finished which was 1 point but there was only 3 GD in it after 35 games and that was obviously after the 2 dodgy wins Chelsea had vs ManUtd which if those games had been fairly officiated ManUtd win that title with quite a few games to spare and have better overall GD than Chelsea but anyway 3 GD separating the top2 after 35 games each played then Chelsea in their last 3 games get everything on their side, numerical advantages, red card escapes for Chelsea, soft pens, given loads of goals a lot of dodgy goals, all meaningless goals apart from the purpose of them was to try disguising it as a legitimate title win after the 2 controversial wins Chelsea NEEDED vs ManUtd which they wanted to overshadow with ridiculous goal difference but it was very fishy considering despite all those goals you mentioned, Chelsea had no more wins by 2 or more goals than ManUtd did (but less away than ManUtd), no more wins by 3 or more goals than ManUtd did (but less away than ManUtd did) and no more wins by 4 or more goals than ManUtd did (and again less away than ManUtd did 🤔).
Also despite the insane goalscoring that you're claiming Chelsea had, they finished with same amount of wins as ManUtd (due to the 2 controversial wins vs ManUtd to tie 27 each, but ManUtd had more away wins which is more impressive because it's harder to win away) but interestingly despite all those goals you mentioned Chelsea had more wins by just 1 goal than ManUtd had until the 37th game and then they both finished on the same number of wins by just 1 goal with the same number of wins overall as well....but Chelsea still finish with 13 GD better?? And literally finish with half that the following season with almost the same team??
So the goals you mentioned were clearly meaningless and just to help disguise this as a worthy title win after the fixed head-to-head win a they needed vs ManUtd. Particularly the Stamford bridge game Nov2009 absolute travesty more 1 sided in Chelsea's favour as the community shield that season was and that's saying something.

"underrated" they lost 6 PL games and easily could've lost a lot more.
They weren't even the best team that season so they shouldn't be in any shortlist for best ever PL team. (By the way ManUtd's team that season was very mediocre and they were still by far the best team, that says a lot. Chelsea shouldn't have needed everything on their side all season for them to only scrape it by such a nothing margin).

Did you not see how many penalties? Not so impressive. Interesting to see how many he scored in controversial games as well where the opposition just gave up because they knew the game was fixed anyway...and games the opposition had a numerical disadvantage etc...Because that season Chelsea had literally everything on their side, to only win by 1 point pretty lame considering they needed to cheat home & away against ManUtd, 2nd best in both games but a series of poor decisions gave them 2 six-pointer wins. Plus the Anfield fixtures that season regarding the 2 title challengers were also fixed in favour of Chelsea another 6 points given to them because Liverpool won at all costs against ManUtd when they came to Anfield in October of that season but on the penultimate game of the season Liverpool had nothing to play for by then apart from stopping ManUtd from overtaking Liverpool on overall number of league titles (It was the first year ManUtd could accomplish that and they deserved to that season and it would've been a record 4 PL titles in a row for ManUtd) so Gerrard deliberately passed back to Drogba at 0-0, Chelsea win... and Martin Atkinson was always going to make it as easy as possible for Chelsea last game of the season, should never have been allowed to referee that game but how many times have we said that with Atkinson and Chelsea. They don't even care how obviously corrupt it looks and is.

2 of those teams still beat Chelsea that season (Villa & Wigan) and Chelsea needed a 45+3 minute equaliser & 95th minute winner away to Stoke from 1-0 down very lucky. Even more lucky they ended up nicking the title by 1 point AFTER cheating twice against ManUtd.
