this is the way of ikhfa according to the genuine sources of tajweed and the certified reciters as well. you will never find a text that states otherwise. the scholars did not mention these groups by name, but in practice they do.
I made these categories just to make it easier for understanding and applying.

      @@bhyhh5910
No . Your tongue is not between the teeth when you pronounce ض
It's produced by touching the upper internal gum with all edges of the tongue while applying pressure on the far edges of the tongue in addition to applying istitala....this is why in ikhfa at the ض we bring the tongue (the edges) close to the gum then we touch

    Barakallahu feekum for your feedback.
i took these divisions from the practice i recited to my sheikh rahimahullah as well as sheikh Ayman hafithahullah and all reliable scholars. sh. Ayman said do not press on the lip while the ghunna is going. he did not say dont touch at all. you can notice this clearly by looking at his mouth when he does it. actually not touching the lip at all while the ghunna is going is a common mistake.
    this also applies to ذ ظ ث ق ك
because it is very clear that we touch then press on these letters.
    hope this is clear.

I heard some people have their own or a little different explanations about Ikhfa. Some Teacher said that Ikhfa commonly is we don't touch our makhroj or our palate while holding it for two harakot. some said that we put the letters in the makhroj while holding it and we holding it two harokat and Ikhfa means Between Izhar and Idhgam, but you categorized ikhfa into three groups. Do you have references or right sources for grouping the ikhfa?

assalaamu alaykum. where did you get these 3 divisions of ikhfaa'? is it from ibn jazari also or other scholars of his time? shaykh ayman suwayd (from his videos) said there are only 2 divisions: 1) ك and ق where the tongue touches the makhraj; 2) all other ikhfaa' letters - the tongue is brought near the articulation point of the ikhfaa' letter. and he said, for the case of harful faa (ف) - don't let your upper front teeth touch the lower lip because a harful meem (م) sound is produced when you do it like that; so you have to keep your teeth just close enough to the articulation point of harful faa (ف) to produce the ikhfaa'. and this is different from your method. i may be wrong and i am hopeful that you are the one who is right; i am just asking the question so that i would know how to properly execute it because these things confuse me. jazaakallahu khayr, may Allah preserve you.

    • @AbdallhKhadra

      That's exactly what I do....
You only need to watch the full video carefully...
In ف we touch gently without pressing then we press ........
You said 2 methods but they are three ....because in the ش no touching at all....it is close then closer ...
Sheikh Ayman didn't say there are only 2 methods ...if he did, send me the video please ....
Alhamdulillah we apply it exactly the same ...all I did is that I made them in 3 groups based on the way we do it and that made it easy for so many people alhamdulillah

@@sakinurrahman2221 brother! please do not post here any link to any video .....As i mentioned, I apply the exact same way of Sheikh Ayman. If you think otherwise, just copy him and don't confuse yourself. Just make sure to read to a qualified licensed sheikh to make sure you are applying it correctly. if you know Arabic this is one i made in Arabic :
      czcams.com/video/FtQLt3ehTbM/video.html
What sheikh Ayman said is that only in ق and ك the makhraj is completely locked ...he never said you do not touch except in ق and ك . You must touch the lip jently (but not completely ..means gently or lightly so that some voice will come from the mouth ......but not touching at all (in the ف) is a mistake as sheikh Ayman himself explained ... As for the ش , it is not produced by touching the roof in the first place ...this is why you prepare by bringing the middle part of the tongue close to the roof then closer (means to the exact makhraj ) ...i hope this is clear ....i explained this again even though i explained it in details before . hopefully you understand it now ..jazakallahu khairan

He made it clear it not based on method but his creative way of teaching and describing it logically and practically. there is logic to ghunah rules. think about why throat letters are idthaar( clear), it is scientifically impossible to do ghunnah with them. the throat anatomically is placed before the nasal area.

@@AbdallhKhadra no no may be I am not getting it right away. I have watched some videos of ikhfa where you guided that its done in three different ways and each video describes it clearly. But where I got confused, I think I couldn't get it was like was the point you said that the first rule was to touch and press, I got it very well. It was very easy otherwise many people couldn't explain it well but I learnt it watching it honestly. But where with the movements of your hands I think in rule 2, you said while you have to do it you need to bring tongue closer to the roof and it must not touch it and then say sheen when sheen was still under the roof and I agree sheen doesn't touches our roof but for ikhfa in each rule tongue touches at least. If I try somewhere not to touch its like a silent noon which you said a complete silent noon in ikhfa is incorrect. I don't know may be I am misunderstood that is why I was asking this. Surely, you would have guided it very well may be I didn't get it as conveyed. I am new at tajweed so I thought may be these videos are very clear as compare to rest so I appreciate you for this and May Allah bless you, your parents alot for this effort ameen but at least I tried to learn ikhfa and get my concepts clear about it. Many tajweed teachers teach it wrong and they don't these rules and all what I have seen so far so I thought may be I can get it from here. I am sorry for my long message if it really bothered you.

Right ....my previous answer was about the normal noon
I didn't know you were asking about ikhfa
Anyway , as for ikhfa I think I explained them very clearly ...you only need to practice.... Or join the Mahir Club to help you practically to do it
In ikhfa we do not touch the makhraj of the noon, instead we prepare the organs of speech to pronounce the ikhfa letter ....I divided that preparation into 3 methods as explained ....

as for ikhfa' at the safeer letters the tip of the tongue do not change at all. it will remain resting at the internal base of the lower teeth. what will change is the distance between the teeth as you can see on the mirror and in the ikhfa' video.
while the ghunnah is going the teeth will come close to one another , once it is over the teeth will come even closer but without touching. this is why i included them under the same category with the sheen ش
    hope that helped
