- Ukraine's president Volodymyrr Zelenskyy has canceled all of his upcoming trips as Russia intensifies attacks on the eastern region of Kharkiv. The new offensive began last week in one of the most significant border incursions since the war began. The town of Vovchansk has seen some of the most intense battles and almost 8,000 people have been forced to flee their homes.

The Kharkov -- Ukrainian army can hold the onslaught of Russian Army for some time but the resistance will collapse eventually. The High rank officer of Ukraine army admitted that winning the conflict against the Russian Army is impossible.

So what is the extent of Russian advances ? I did not gain much insight on that. Conolly is blabbering about UK lifting restrictions. Russia has told British targets will be hit and the Russians don't bluff.

When Ukraine say it is extremely difficult. That means they lost the battle. It's only a matter of time. Ukraine is losing the war. They just don't admit it. There just was not enough dedication by the west and Ukraine to win this war.
Did you also say this about Russia when they lost 5 times as much territory last year? Nobody can predict the future, it depends on a lot of things. It's even possible that Western countries will send troops.
Ukraine tried the best it could, I think Russia was just underestimated by the west in their ability to adapt and learn from this war despite their initial failures. Even now many people believe Russia is using human waves attacks with little to no strategy. When in reality they were constantly improving their strategy such as introducing the turtle tanks, electronic warfare to jam western weapons, converting weapons to glide bombs in a cost effective way, hacking drones etc.

I heard Russia recently gained more territory in 3 days than Ukraine did during the entire summer counteroffensive last year.
@@lorenzo6868The focus is on Russia to find an effective way to defeat the Ukrainian defense line. During the Wagner period, it took a lot of losses to gain a small town. Now the Ukrainian defense line is like a decoration and cannot stop the Russian army from advancing.

Poland military strategist expect Russia to bomb Kharkiv extensively while Russian troops encircle and bypass Karkhiv to the west, cut off supply lines, cut off escape route, link up with the Eastern front, then battle of Kharkiv begins. This also allows attack on Ukraine's fortifications on Eastern front from both sides. Will require Russia adding another 300,000 soldiers to cover an area that large.
