Another success factor for WOW Momos has been their ability to standardise a good taste of momos across each outlet. As per my observation, the availablity of good quality momos is higher in North India as compared to the Southern states. Therefore, targeting the sub premium category through opening outlets in malls and near theaters has been very relevant in North India but in Southern states, WOW Momos is successful even if they do not target very premium locations for their outlets. Being from Dehradun and having travelled across the country I've observed that in North India, WOW Momos is not very popular or highly rated on Zomato / Swiggy however, in South India, the scenario is very different.

As I belong from Nepal, where most people prefer momos' over any other fast food. I am observing the growing market of momos', and how those 3 people acknowledged the actual potential of this dish at the very right time is just amazing. They saw what so many were lacking. First of all it's not momos
      It's momo
during ancient time Newari and tibetan people used to trade.
Newari people popularised that in Nepal. From 90s they started making in veg too.
Many tibetan refugee lives in both India and Nepal. They started selling momo now it become mainstream.

@@ashleypinto1349 tibet is very cold place and they used to put yak meat inside as a kima. In Kathmandu you won't get yak so Newari people started using buff as a kima. From 90s they introduced as a veg chicken and other verities. Momo is indeed originated from tibet. But recognised as both tibetan as well Nepali dish in Morden day. now tibet is in China 😑😢

Love the case studies. Great job. Wish you continued success. Two things,
    1. The thumbnail with Jackie Chan when you are talking about momos is extremely insulting. Be better.
    2. Please get the pronunciations right when you are talking about foreign brands. Your pronunciation of ‘chipotle’ was cringeworthy.
