Missed the part where 1 of the 8 belts Ultimo Dragon won was the technically the WWF’s long forgotten original light heavyweight title, meaning he held WCW & WWE belts at the same time 4 years before the invasion
But this is about his run in the 90s, where he held all those belts at once. Not the terrible run however many years later
@@cameronjohnson9361 his reign isn't recognized by wwe. The tournament was held at the end of 97, almost a year after ultimo dragon
Although it is the same belt WWE doesn't recognize anyone before Taka because it was technically a UWA title because of a working agreement.
Basically yeah
@@rebellioustoast6670 well no matter he still held it
Regardless on whos in this list... The real belt collector is the man, the myth, the legend.....VACANT
Legendary VACANT >>> Boring Overrated Reigns
I just cant seen to find a championship VACANT hasnt won ever
Can someone help me out
@@BuckledFrame2187 all of Aews i think
@@iantheweird1384 VACANT was the first champion of all the AEW belts
Oh when that Sex Pistols music hits...
Kenny: I'm the belt collector.
Dragon: You need seven more titles to be me.
Seriously how’d dragon not get number 1
Vacant: And you need every belt to be me.
Dragon buried omega with 7 belt over him
Omega held 3 world titles at once that's the big difference
@@justinames9249 have to completely agree
Number 1 has gotta be ultimo dragon and his 54 belts of destiny
the J-Crown was originally only I think 8, but he won a ninth and merged that in to the J-Crown.
@@supersasukemaniac yeah, the WCW cruiser weight title was number nine.
Ik, I expected the video to go "Most title won by 1 person" but eh
Nope, Lawler has him beat
@nukeis-rah-hell agreed
Ultimo Dragon looking like a GOD
Facts
True
fun fact: Kurt Angle's time as IWGP heavyweight champion isn't acknowledged since he held the Inoki Genome Federation's Third Belt. Once he unified the title with Shinsuke Nakamura any reigns under the IGF flag where voided.
@@blackphillip2264 I didnt. Thanks to this person for sharing their knowledge
That sucks but at least he can say he "won" gold in Japan
I know it wasn't in professional wrestling but I was sure that Dan "The Beast" Severn would of gotten a special mention in this list.
It technically was, he held the UFC Superfight title, I think a Pride title and the NWA worlds Heavyweight Title.
Why the hell is it so hard for two of the top CZcams wrestling channels to admit that Ultimo Dragon is the OG and the BEST when it comes to collecting straps..... just look at that Goddamn picture......
Because he didn't have any world heavy weight titles it was just light heavyweight and cruiserweight belts with the J - Crown which just became multiple belts merged into 1
Hardys, Misawa, Young Bucks, Walter, Zack Sabre Jr, The Miz, Bandido, Deaner, John Morrison, Momoe Nakanishi and Santana Garrett? I think you can make a part 2 to this list.
The inclusion of "Dudes with Attitudes" and putting "The Power Trip" belts didn't need to be there. Ultimo Dragon should've been number 1.
Edit: Matt Cardona!
Walter
Exactly what I was thinking
The Miz is a sports entertainer, not a pro wrestler.
And ZSJ
The Hardy's one is probably the most impressive run I've seen that was a crazy weekend for them
They could have technically included everyone who won the j crown, and everyone who held the triple crown and world tag team championships in all Japan at the same time.
Legit thought the title meant people who collect replica belts as a hobby to display in their home.
You missed the Broken Hardys. They held 7 titles including roh and tna tag titles at the time. Brilliant. Yes.
What about the Hardys and their Expedition of Gold? That was so good.
Because the Hardyz did it at piss ant promotions??? Pretty simple
@@stoneharper7038 found the wwe mark
@@stoneharper7038 at that time only WWE and Njpw were bigger than Impact, AAA & ROH. Found the stupid comment of the day
they were 1 shot matches that didn't count
when TNA was mentioned multiple times in this video? got it@@stoneharper7038
Joe had sole possession of the TNA Tag Titles at that point because he was a badass god in TNA at that time. If there was a Trios Title (ayo Chikara!) he'd have won that on his own, too. Man that brief period of TNA history was fucking great.
Thank you for the explanation! I wondered why Joe had both TNA Tag Titles, very significant to the contest, I can’t believe Cultaholic didn’t cover that. Laziness I guess 🤷🏽♂️
You left out the part where Cornette had booked Joe & Kurt in a tag team match against Team 3D where whoever got the pinfall got the other's titles
I miss Chikara
Honorable mentions shall go to bandido, zack, Walter
But you see Adam that’s the kind of man you are! Vader stops you and says get out I’m taking your title belt and you say “…ok take it just don’t hurt me” as for me; I would also give him my title and beg him not to hurt me
Noticed how many of these include the phrase 'disappointing wwe run'
If you want more Ultimo Dragon, he's been back in Dragon Gate (the promotion he founded as Toryumon) since 2019, which is still one of the coolest wrestling promotions of all time.
Santana Garrett is the one woman i can think on who was a belt collector, and a multiple time belt collector at that.
Honorable mention to Lance Archer and Davey Boy Smith Jr who held the NWA world tag, NOAH's GHC tag and Stampede wrestling tag titles simultaneously.
Ahhh yes the prime Suzuki-gun stable was freaking awesome
As an Impact Players fan, it was awesome seeing Lance Storm get recognition in WCW
Omega at 1 is recency bias to the max
Love Kenny.... but Ultimo should be #1....
I was definitely a huge Ultimo Dragon fan! His matches where always so awesome to watch!!!!! Also the Great Muta!
Último dragón was awesome
We need an updated version of this video... Matt Cardona has been on a rampage collecting belts this past year.
6:44 - It's funny how everyone forgets that among the championships represented in the J-Crown was the WWF Light-Heavyweight Championship, itself started in 1981 sanctioned by the WWF but exclusively used by promotions in Mexico and Japan until the WWF recalled it in November 1997 to finally use in their own promotion. From August 1996 until that recall, it was part of the J-Crown, and during Ultimo Dragon's reign he appeared with it on WCW television; meaning that *a WWF-branded championship appeared on WCW television at the height of the Monday Night Wars, and neither company realized it at the time.*
Amazing information ,,, great explain
Shoutout and honorable mention to the Young Bucks, at one point held the PWG, ROH, IWGP JR. Heavyweight Tag Team Championship. And along with their custom Superkick Party titles.
Hum... Maybe it's because I'm French and don't know everything about the English language, but can anybody explain why Austin Aries giving his girlfriend a promise ring is funny ? (To me it just means he got engaged so I really don't get why)
Exactly what I came here to ask. I'm Greek, I also don't know wtf a promise ring is 😂
it's not an engagement ring it's just like a promise to be together. Promise rings are really a thing for teens or very young adults not 40 year olds
@@sideshowdayv Oh okay, thank you for explaining !
Young Bucks had the IWGP Jr Tag Titles, PWG Tag Titles and ROH World Tag Titles.
"Huh... looks vaguely familiar" 😂😂
Number 1: 2016 Braun Strowman collecting as many regular belts to keep his pants up as possible because it had the silly piss stain
Ultimo Dragon should've been number one cuz he holds the record that still stands today.
0:07 Tommy Dreamer: I am here to get over without winning any.
Love these lists!
How Ultimo Dragon wasn’t number one is a travesty
Congrats to the Great muta for being inducted into the WWE hall of fame
I remember the lance storm run in WCW when he was renaming the titles 😂😂😂😂
Ultimo Dragon should have been higher. That pic of him holding all the gold is iconic.
Awesome video man 😎!
I would have loved it if no 10 on this list was every single fan that shows up at a show with a replica title 😂
dragon coming to the ring with all those belts wasnt epic,it was legendary!
Rob Van Dam. Held the ECW tag titles twice with Sabu while ECW TV Champion between 98-99, last to hold the Hardcore and European titles while Intercontinental Champion in 2002, and WWE and ECW Champion in 2006.
ZSJ held the RevPro, Evolve, and PWG belts all at once iirc
Those don't count🤣🤣🤣 this is major titles. Not flea market belts
@@dannymcelroy922 Ok danny
Bless you Adam for pronouncing my Province's name right, so rarely does anyone not from here actually say Saskatchewan properly.
The ultimo 🐲 pic is the hardest pic in wrestling history
I never like when people lazily say "because TNA" when they know exactly why it happened. If you can look everything else up, you can look that up.
It’s called a joke.
@@MegaLakona Just like TNA!
I fuckin love adam and the cultaholics 😭😭😭😭😭😭
Pretty sure Vader held five belts, as the tag team belts in All Japan were two unofficially unified championships up until like 2019
I was there when Austin Aries won the defy title I actually popped for a double count out because that meant swerve retained the defy belt but for some reason he decided to restart the mash
Wow Vader and Steve Williams as tag champs, isn't that about the stiffest team possible? Geez
Fang mcfrost and Terra rizing lmao
I wish they did replica belts on lance storm hardcore belt that would have been a awesome belt to collect
This list reminds me of some of the most underrated wrestlers of all time
Fun Fact:WWE has changed the Grandslam and Triple Crown rules so much over the years since they kept and let go of some titles
Miz looked so awesome back in the day w 3 belts
How can you forget about The Hardyz and their “Expedition of Gold”. They technically along with a couple other belts had the TNA and WWE Tag Team Titles at the same time for awhile
thanks!
Sweet Pokemon reference. What? The Great Muta is evolving?? :O
What About Matt & Jeff EXPEDITION Of Gold. They Won ROH , TNA, Some Mexico Promotions, & WWE Tag Titles
Would be nice to have a count of how many belts did they get when showing their names
Back 🔙 then 😜💯💪🌍
When it was worth looking at...
Lots of love from Amritsar
Surely, Chris Jericho should have qualified for this. His two belt run with the Undisputed Title aside, he was the first to ever hold the World, IC, European, Tag Team, and Hardcore belts.
Matt cardona is the new belt collector
And FTR
6:16 one day we'll see Comissioner Pacitti again
You did Keiji Muto dirty here. 6 titles in 2001.
Hard to believe this man dragon has held on to one belt for almost 14 years
Moral of the story: Austin Aries once gave his girlfriend a promise ring
good video
Commenting before watching: Fred Ottman better be on the list.
[ETA] 5:57 Ottman as Big Bubba the Belt Collector was active in the mid 1980s, long before Austin Aries "coined the term."
So Ultimo didn’t have 10 separate titles…only like 3-4.
Little Shawn 😂
AAA barely remembers the Mega Championship exists. I was surprised Kenny didn't lose it to Andrade at Triplemania but I get why. Kenny was putting in some miles with the Impact World Title considering the brutal taping schedule that was going on.
Austin Aries-World Heavyweight Belt Collectors
Ultimo Dragon- Junior Heavyweights Belt Collectors
Kenny omega is a great performer....if I'm being honest...my fav performer out there today and has been since....like 2004 or 2005 is aj styles...yet I am a pro wrestling fan...not a wwe fan and there is a difference....wwe fans r and always will be partial to wwe...omega is also 1 of those few performers who is excellent as a heel or a face...however....it does seem to me his best work is as a heel...although they r goofy..."the elite" or the "super elite"....they r in my opinion the best faction ive seen in a while...they literally span 2 promotions in North america....aew and impact(at least till the good bros impact contracts r up and they r signed with aew....and it will happen...maybe don callis also)....but consisting of kenny omega/young bucks/good bros/adam cole/Brandon cutler/nakazawa/and don callis as their mouthpiece/manager....they remind me of the early awesome NWO days...back when they had like 6 or 7 wrestlers in the group...with a top level heel spearheading it...a top tier tag team(the outsiders) and some top level talent backing them such as Paul wight/the giant/the big show....and x pac/syxx....and ted dibiase as their manager...before bishoff....anyway omega has been a great heel to place at the very top....but with this very very long and very very well done story arc aew has laid out for hangman page....i want so badly for hangman to take the title from omega!!! He def deserves it....and the pop from the crowd should he win it....oh man that is gonna be a hell of a pop!!!! I was livid when the elite defeated hangman and the dark order...atm I didn't know hangman requested time off for his newborn child....or him and dark order prolly(yes I know how to spell this is how I talk online....deal with it) woulda won and hangman woulda prolly won it at all out....i like the idea of hangman winning at full gear....a ppv named after a bit of his on BTE...if hangman doesn't win the belt from omega I will be so angry and highly doubt im the only one....i would like to see Pentagon beat omega for the AAA title...rey fenix has been the champ and i dont think Pentagon has yet....he may have....im just a big fan of the lucha bros(glad they won aew tag titles finally and want santana and ortiz to win them^also) and especially of Pentagon....all of this is just the opinion of 1 pro wrestling fan...that is all
1:41: Joe got both tag title cause when he won tag match and pin one of team 3d and Joe or Kurt (whoever get the winning fall) got right to pick who they want as a tag partner and Joe did not pick anyone as his partner
lmao , the background BGM is the same as Botans
I mean so many wrestlers have completed the Grandslam and Triple Crown achievements so it makes sense they won many titles and collected lots of titles
🐉Ultimo Dragon!!!! Hell yeah!!!! Dragon🐲
Omega: I’M the collector
Dragón: XD?
Kurt vs Joe was probably the best TNA feud ever......or maybe Kurt vs Aj styles. Those are the only reason I even cared about TNA, other than to see what cornette was doing, I'll have you know lol.
That ZSJ snub tho.
FTR and Kenny Omega are on this list now
That botan bgm
Lance storm had almost all the wcw titles
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but Vader would have had five belts, not four, when holding the AJPW Triple Crown and Tag Team Championships, as the tag titles were a unified championship as well.
Is the background music in this the same as the one Noel using lol it sounds so similar
When it comes to belt collecting, no one can touch Conrad Thompson
Miz deserved a mention for being the only wrestler to hold three title at once in WWE
Technically The Miz was holding two championships but three titles because WWE unified tag titles were represented by four titles instead of two.
What about Miz he was one half of the tag team champs which was 2 belts at the time and US Champion that's 3 belts at once
The unified tag title still just counts as one title
@@mattj4112 pretty sure when Omega held the impact title it was 2 titles and counted as 2. I'm pretty sure your wrong. Plus the title of the video says belt not "titles"
I thought Ultimo dragon was the ultimate champion when I first saw all the belts.
Damn,Austin Ares looks like a young Oliver Reed lol!!
How dare you forget the ultimate belt collector Matt Cardona!
Sting was always the franchise player of TNA imo. They needed Sting to get that Spike TV deal.
8:03 is that from the 2006 Survivor Series Tour in Manila? That dome looks like the Famous Araneta Coliseum... If yes then, my dad and I was there! The main event was a 3man tag man featuring Finley, Mr Kennedy and King Booker vs Bobby Lashley, Undertaker and the hometown boy Batista!!
It's hard to take Omega at #1 on the list considering the Impact world title at this point has lost so much value just like the company, & one of those 2 Impact titles was just a bootleg replica that Moose decided to wear around for some reason.
Ultimo Dragon is 🐐
Wait isn't this BG music one of Noel Shirogane's BG music tracks
All this and no mention of the first double champion in WWWF/WWF/WWE history Bob Backlund who held the WWWF title and the Tag Team title with Pedro Morales or Ultimate Warrior who while Intercontinental champion beat Hulk Hogan for the WWF title .
