One of my favorites with Conan is when he went to the Irish American cultural center in Chicago. Also all of the travels to other countries are great too.

Schlansky wine tasting, Cuba rum museum, and Conan learns Korean… some of my favorites.
The Korean spa is the best and there’s also the one where he’s in South Korea “learning” Korean. It’s is also priceless. His teacher is the best part.

I never cared for Conan's show while in studio, but I LOVE the remotes. That's where he shines. Conan with the Korean language instructor is one of my personal favorites.
for me it just depends on the guest for the studio bits. I do agree the remotes are better though.
The remotes are hilarious, and his Clueless Gamer segments are some of my favourites, too. Especially the ones where he's accompanied by Bill Hader and Elijah Wood.

Conan acts likes to act crazy, but he’s a real sharp guy. He graduated from Harvard and before he got his own show, he had been a writer and producer on The Simpsons during their golden era. Some of the classic episodes such as the monorail one, came from him.

Fun fact: If you ever go to Tequila, Mexico, and go on the Jose Cuervo factory tour, they'll give you like 12 shots of tequila and a margarita. We went there for a school trip when I studied abroad. LOL

at 10 years old I did the Tampa Budweiser tour (Tampa Brewery is now closed) and yes they gave a 10 year old a sample.....it was great....explains now why I drink Buds at least 7 or 8 times a week

I took the St. James Gate tour in 1990 with some Irish cousins I had just met. They basically gave you a mug back then. So hammered.
I took a tour of the Troegs Brewery in Harrisburg PA USA, and they fill your cup upon entrance, and top it off throughout the tour (1998) We had to call a cab when we left. We could barely walk after the 90 minute tour with free beer the whole time.

Also, there used to be a pub in mid town Manhatten, where you would order a Guiness, they would start you on the cycle. Meaning give you a Harp as they slow poured your Guiness. It was like 12 minutes a pour.

I read an article, the yeast used in all of the Guinness Breweries is a spawn of the original in Dublin. As you would expect. When they open these breweries in whatever country, they transport the yeast etc. under armed guard. Not sure how true this is.

Conan simply doesn't care. He says and does what comes to mind at that moment without considering what others think of him. Then he thrives in the discontent and discomfort of others. That's why to me, he was always my favorite late night host. He was pretty much allowed creative freedom to do whatever he wanted as long as it wasn't too far.

The best Guinness I've had in England was at Heathrow Airport, they flue it in daily from Dublin. It was as good as drinking it at the brewery.

The North American Guiness is brewed with more flavors that fit our palet. The original Irish Guinness was actually kind of bland when i tasted it in Dublin.
