- Khuzait army face with the Aserai army in the desert! This is my first cinematic Bannerlord video and I hope that these videos will be far better with tools and mods!

So here we are; the first Bannerlord cinematic! The game is new and we all are waiting for new tools and mods to make it better, so there might be some stuttering problems and fps drops in the video. This is just an example to show Bannerlord's potential for my cinematic videos, still there is much to do but I think it's great! :) Also I just realized that I used ascene twice, at 3:56 ve 4:47 sorry about that! There’s a mod that makes it way better
I think the reason calvary combat is better than other forms of combat in this game is because when you are in the thick of a calvary fight, there aren’t really formations or much unit cohesion after the original charge. In general, there isn’t much unit cohesion in bannerlord so it indirectly makes calvary combat good and pretty realistic. However, ground combat isn’t very good or realistic in bannerlord because of the lack of unit cohesion.
@@j_e_b_b2951 Totally agree. The "advance ten paces" command back in Warband kept unit cohesion. Though the game is still in early access. Seeing the amazing effort, attention and care the developers at TaleWorlds are putting into the game, I am sure this will be addressed too sooner or later. I really admire the way these guys are listening to their gaming community.
@goran stojanovic I tend to mix up different melee troops under group 1. Some heavy infantry with shields, some mere peasants. My cohesion might break up due to the different unit speeds. Currently my group assignments are not saved when I load up a game - migh be a bug. So all my melee troops revert back to group 1 after I load my game. :)
there is a victory cheer mod and also a decapitation mod. could come in handy for cinematic vids

@@NedimCanIncebay No problem! The CZcamsr Artem posts a Mods update every week, so far he has posted two videos about them. I'd keep an eye on those videos if I were you. And keep up these cool videos, Total War or MB they are awesome
Speaking of mods are those flags a mod? Or is that something in the base game that ive just missed aha cause something about flags flying above the cav makes it much more immersive
@@0riginalFIR3 theres a mod called Banner peasants, its great, there is also the other one called Carry my Banner but it didnt work for me even tho the mod creator seems talented
@@TheWolfDude91 "Bear my Banner" should be in working order. It didnt work for too at first but when I switched over to the Vortex Mod Manager to install mods it did work. Maybe something to look into. "Banner Peasants" is cool but I feel like "Bear My Banner" is more historicaly accurate since troops hold banner in hand for the most part compared to carry them on the back.
Wow... This is simply breathtaking. The battle feels like a genuine medieval battle. Cavalry isn't just dogpiling on troops but circling around and attacking

@ASL 72 I am no historian but are you sure renaissance? Maybe more advanced than they made it look like, I don't know though. The scene where the crusaders and salahadin's forces are marching towards each other was absolutely beautiful, right? ^^

as someone who does have it, and who has spent countless hours on the first one... Don't. Not yet. I know it's tempting, but please do give it a few months, or even wait for the full release. It's not a bad game right now, but it's a really rough super-imrpoved mod for warband.
Give it time to bring in rest of the features, fix the bugs and mechanics, maybe wait for some interesting mods to come out. But right now, after waiting for so long, i feel like it wouldn't be worth it - when it might be. Soon.

Thus the Cold War and the Arms Race between Vlandia and the Khuzait began... Not long after, the Vlandians sent King Derthert, t'is not known if it was voluntarily or not, to space. The Vlandians and the Khuzait were in an arms race to reach the ultimate Lord's Hall, the Moon. The Vlandians landed Derthert on the moon first though.
As a filmmaker and photographer, I have to say, your composition in these is absolutely incredible. I hope you look at taking these skills outside of just gaming. The shot starting at 6:04 is breathtaking. Amazing work.

Personal Opinion: The slow mo when you shot the foot soldiers felt a bit weird, it kind of lessens the intensity of the horse archer you were controlling.

The first time I fought the kzuaits, I thought it would be like any other army, but over the hill I hear the Thundering of 130 calvalry (I had an army of 400 and it was mostly infantry, in the desert.

@Vienna Yeah, that's why there were so many nomadic conquerors until armors became much stronger, after that the nomads lost their biggest advantage.

2:12 is an incredible battle scene - the sun becomes a grounding point for the eye while battle crosses in and out of the frame all the while whilst the camera is just gently floating across the frame - renaissance painting level composition there
Man, you just did a really specific and realistic historical fight and simulation of how these battles exactly looked. Congratulation! I want more.

The 1st person view part of sticking arrows into enemies is priceless. You guys are not only excellent in composition but also acting as badass real actors.

Horse-archery is the superior form of warfare.
Unless you have to deal with large numbers of Foot-archer (cover by a solid shield-wall or pike formation).
@@mr.bluefox3511Rigid formations can not counter horse-archer if not masterfully orchestrated. Besides, horse archer always has manouvre advantage. If you manage somehow secure your flanks or do a square formation like crassus, they will bombard you with arrows to oblivion or simply wait until your supplies run out. Horse archer horde's only weakness is their baggage train or horde camp, ambush it or just restrain their movements, you can slaughter them like alexios komnenos.

@@tectonpro8507 Well I think it's about the optimization of the game, not the card memory or type of it. I have RTX 2080 and as I said even my game freezes from time to time, I hope they will fix it with patches. Also, I can suggest you to use ''Memory Cleaner'', it might help your stuttering problem, mine is better now. :)

Really fucking nice, and you actually got the emotions I get in video form.
The first time I got into a battle in the Desert, was with 2 big armies ( around 500 against 600 ) and god dam was beautiful, leading my Calvary against the Enemy Calvary while the Infantry was advancing on each other and Arrows and Bolts started flying in the background, the Archers on top of the Dunes, getting myself into the thick of the fighting and losing my Horse behind the lines, fighting the Enemy Archers to get to another Horse that lost his rider, hearing the charge of both armies and sound of Bolts and Arrows in the air with the screaming of the Infantry going agains't each other, seeing the Infantry formations turning into chaos.
And when the Enemy starts retreating my Calvary hunting them down.
This game it's not perfect, there's bug and at launch there was Crashes that required to start a new save, and somethings are still plain unbalanced or annoying, but god dam if Warband was a good game, this one is close to perfect, the best First Person Total War you can ever get.
And this cinematic really shows it, I really like you ever shown some of the things that still might need fixing in the game, but it doesn't really retracts of the quality of it.
That battle you mentioned is like the Battle of the Bastards, good one! :) Yes, still much to do about this game but it will be far better in the end, I mean, I hope so... Thanks a lot for the comment, I'm grateful for it! :)

I absolutely loved it when the Commander lsot his horse and we follow him in his fight for survival, until the victorious end. Really added a nice dynamic. Amazing video!
