There may be some of you guys who are interested to hear.
This is my orchestral arrangement featured on the actual song.
It was sent to the band and the sections were arranged in a slightly different structure, and vocals and live choir and extra instrumentation was added at a later date.
As you can hear the song originally began with a heavier piano intro, it didn't yet have the new (sharpen my teeth) vocal section just before the outro and it also features the original piano solo instead of the string solo.
I don't skate, but this song ALWAYS makes me wish I did. The choreography for ice or blade/skating would be ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL!
I think I prefer the piano solo over the string solo part... It lands easier on the ears. I love hearing these instrumentals despite how much I love Ronnie's Vocals. You sir, are a true virtuoso. Also I'm not sure how seriously you might take suggestions, but "God, if you are above..." by FIR would sound great with one of these orchestral twists.

You do not get enough credit for your amazing talent. Had you not created this, as well as the reimagined version of 'the drug in me is you', I'd likely have never discovered this band. I hope you were well-compensated. Damn.... this is just spectacular!
Thanks so much, I've looked into it and as far as I can see arrangers don't have a great history of being recognised. I really enjoy doing these new versions, it's like a puzzle trying to figure out how to make the same song sound different but still be the same song. TDIMIR was literally written in 10 minutes. This one took almost the entire summer to write after endless rewrites and changes.

Hello I'm making russian covers for my favourite songs. And also I'm a fan of FIR. Thank you so much for your arrangements to Drug and Vampire. Drug in your version is now one of my top 10 songs of all time, and a vampire in your version became to my wife the best song of all time. That is crazy. I've wrote on those songs russian lyrics already. And can't wait to sing them well (vocals are crazy). I hope this is not the last collaboration with FIR, because you guys making magic. I cannot thank you enough!

I prefer this version. I love Ronnie but this version captures the haunting side of this song, the delicate-ness of it. It’s raw and it pulls emotions from your soul you forget you have. Idk what you went through (emotion wise) to pull this inspiration but I’m sorry not sorry because this gives me literal goosebumps so thank you for sharing those emotions with us

Well, I went through about 15 different version before I settled on what you hear now.
It started out much more playful than what you hear now. I took inspiration from a piece of music (Beethoven piano sonata number 3, second movement) listen to that piece and you will hear what mood I as going for.
It gradually got darker and darker. The rug in me is Reimagined was written fully in about ten minutes. This one took me about 3 months to get right. It's a lot of work but worth it.
I fell in love with someone, and he fell in love with me, that’s why I moved to America, but now I want to go back.
